~Third Person POV~

The sound of the muffled waves of the ocean were now absent. As Logan opened up his eyes, he realized, he wasn't in the ocean anymore, but he was instead, laying on a bed, staring at an actual curtain. Furrowing his eyebrows, he glanced slowly to the side, noticing a holographic clock sitting on his nightstand. 8:55 am.

The quiet chirps of small birds could be heard outside. He quickly sat up, focusing more on the clock. As he rubbed his eyes which had been blinded by the bright sun peeking through the window, Logan stood up, reaching for the golden door knob. A bell rung faintly as he swung open the door. At the end of the hall were Bobby and Anna, holding hands. They noticed his staring and smiled back at him before they walked off.

Where am I? Logan thought to himself, furrowing his eyebrows as he continued wandering through the halls. He passed by an open classroom to see Kitty teaching a class. He couldn't believe it.

Logan slowly turned his head, spotting Hank, who slightly swayed as he walked. "Good morning Logan," Hank greeted, "Late start?" Hank laughed slightly as he walked past.

Logan couldn't help but smirk as well, starting to realize what was going on. As he turned the corner, he accidentally bumped into a familiar brunette. "Isabelle," he muttered with wide eyes.

"Hey Logan, what's with the shocked face?" she arched a brow.

"Nothing I'm just surprised to actually see you back here," he responded, "You haven't aged a bit."

"Obviously not. Why wouldn't I be here?"

"It's a long story. Where's Mary by the way?"

"Mary who?" she squinted.

"Your daughter Mary," he answered, but she still seemed confused, "My girlfriend."

"Wait a sec- you came back!" her eyes widened, "But how?"

"I'm not entirely sure," he shrugged.

"Well I'm sorry Logan but Mary no longer exists. After you left, I stayed here, so I never got to meet her father. I don't have any kids," she explained with a frown.

"Seriously," Logan felt like his heart shattered.

"Nah I'm kidding. She's in the lawn. I was just playing tricks on ya," Isabelle laughed as she walked away. "Welcome back to the future though!"

Logan sighed in relief, deciding to head to the first floor. He continued his walk, now approaching downstairs where he saw Storm talking to a bunch of kids. She was alive too. "Storm," he muttered in shock and walked down the steps.

Slowly glancing to his left, he gasped, seeing a woman with familiar red hair leaning against the entrance of Charles's study. He walked slowly toward her, thinking this was all so surreal and muttered, "Jean?"

She turned slowly and smiled, "Hey Logan. You okay?"

"You're here," his eyes were widened in shock.

"Where else would I be?" she smiled with a raised brow.

He reached his hand to touch her, just to see if she was actually real, but his wrist was caught by someone. "Whoa,"Scott interrupted, moving Logan's hand away, "Easy pal."

Logan sighed, setting his arm down, "Some things never change." He pat Scott's shoulder and continued, "Good to see you Scott."

"Uh huh," Scott nodded and said, "See you later Jean," before he walked out.

A familiar figure had been sitting at his desk reading. "Charles," Logan gasped. Charles was older now, and his shaggy brown hair and beard were gone.

"Logan, is everything alright?" Jean asked.

Logan stared at her for a moment, unsure of what to say. "Yeah," he told her. She narrowed her eyes, not sure whether to believe him or not. "Yeah, I think it is," he assured.

She smiled and as she walked out, Logan watched her in her red dress ad heels. He slowly turned back to face the study, glancing at Isabelle who had been smiling widely and Charles who was reading. "You did it," Logan said.

"Did what?" Charles asked, setting his book down, "Don't you have a class to teach?"

"A class? To teach?" Logan repeated, unsure if he was hearing him right.

"History," Charles added.

"History," Logan nodded with furrowed eyebrows, "Actually I could use some help with that."

"Help with what?" Charles rolled forward.

"Eh pretty much everything after 1973," Logan stated."I think the history I know is a little different."

Charles glanced at Logan with wide eyes, having finally realized.  "Welcome back," Charles said, almost in a whisper.

"It's good to see you Charles. It's good to see everyone," Logan smiled.
