Chapter 19

I awoke the next morning feeling fully refreshed. That was the best sleep I've gotten in years! I rolled over and looked at Luke. He was sleeping peacefully. He looks so cute. I studied his face.

"It's not polite to stare." Luke mumbled.

I blushed. "I wasn't.. wasn't staring." I stuttered.

He opened his eyes and smirked. "Your face tells me different."

I hid my face in my pillow. Stupid blushing!

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me pulling me into his chest. "You're adorable." He said and kissed my hair.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm adorable." I mumbled.

He laughed and sat up in bed. He rubbed his eyes and stretched.

I sat up too and looked at the clock. 9am. I yawned an stretched. Well, better get up now or I'll never get up. I put my feet over the bed and stood up.

"Where you going?" Luke asked.

"I'm just gonna take a shower." I replied. I walked towards the bathroom and stopped when I got hit in the butt with something. I turned around and blushed. 

"You're cute when you blush." Luke pointed out.

I blushed harder. "Shut up." I mumbled and walked into the bathroom. I heard his musical laughter as I closed the door. I turned on the shower and waited for it to warm up. 20 minutes later I hop out of the shower. I feel soooo awake and refreshed. I dry myself off and look for my clothes. Then it hits me. I didn't bring clothes with me. UGHHHH!!!! I wrap the towel around myself and walk out of the bathroom, praying Luke had gone downstairs. No such luck. He's laying on the bed in his boxers. He looks at me as I come in.

"Well, well, this is a great way to wake up." He says.

I narrow my eyes at him and walk towards the dresser. I grab my things and walk back to the bathroom.

"You can change in here." Luke said.

"And have you watch me? No such luck!" I said.

He rolled his eyes. "No, I need to take a shower. The bedroom's yours." He said getting up. He walled to the bathroom and closed the door. I waited til I heard the water on until I dropped my towel. I slid on my under garments and was reaching for my shirt when Luke came in from the bathroom.

"AHHH!" I screamed. He gave me a heart attack!

"Babe! Calm down. Its just me!" Luke said holding his hands up.

I slipped on my shirt and looked at Luke.

"Why aren't you in the shower?" I asked him.

"I forgot my clothes. I figured it'd be too much of a show if I came out in a towel." He said.

I nodded my head and sliped on skinny jeans. 

"April..." He said.

My breath hitched and I looked into his beautiful eyes.

"You're so beautiful. I love you." He said.

I smiled. "I love you too."

He put his lips on mine.

A few minutes later we broke away.

"You need to shower." I said.

He pouted.

"You stink." I said.

"Heeeeey. That was mean." He said fake pouting.

I pushed his chest and he walked into the bathroom. That boy...

One year later:

"April! Are you even listening to me?" May snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Huh?" I asked, coming back to reality.

"I said, do you think my pearls would go better with my dress?" May said holding up her pearls to her neck.

"I like the pearls." I said.

Today was the day.

I was getting married.

I pulled up my strapless dress and fixed my hair. My dress was a long flowy strapless white dress with a design going down the back. My hair was in an elegent up do and I had on orange converse under my dress. Luke had the same shoes on. I wonder how Luke looks all dressed up in his tux. I broke from my thoughts as May snapped in my face.

"April! You go down the aisle in 5 minutes!" She whisper yelled.

My breathing sped up and I looked around. All these people here to support me. They're all here to see me marry the man of my dreams. My mate.

"Time to go, April." The MC said to me. Has it been 5 minutes already?

The door opened and I stepped into the room filled with people. I looked towards my groom standing at the alter. His smile was ear to ear.
