The moment Jungkook whispered, “Hyung… who is that Eunwoo? Morning he said you promised him something. Why is he looking at me like that? What does he want? Tell me everything… don’t leave even an inch.”
Taehyung froze. His hand, which had been sliding inside Jungkook’s shirt, stilled against the boy’s warm skin. For a second, his sharp eyes softened, and he pulled back just a little, staring down at the bunny trembling beneath him.
“I’ll tell you,” Taehyung murmured, voice rough, his breath ghosting Jungkook’s lips. “I’ll tell you everything… but once I start, baby, you may try to run away. That’s why…”
Before Jungkook could react, Taehyung’s strong arms scooped him up in bridal style, his chest pressed to Jungkook’s racing heart. Jungkook gasped, fists pounding weakly against his shoulders.
“What the fuck are you doing?! Put me down, Taehyung!”
But Taehyung ignored him, striding across the room with long, confident steps. He kicked the door shut, turned the key with a sharp click, and laid Jungkook down on the massive bed. The mattress dipped under the sudden weight, and before Jungkook could scramble up, Taehyung climbed over him, caging him in, one hand gripping his waist tightly, almost possessively.
“Hyung!” Jungkook hissed, eyes wide, chest heaving. “I asked you a question, not this—”
“Shhh…” Taehyung leaned closer, their foreheads nearly touching. His deep voice dropped low, raw with something between pain and hunger.
“Baby, after I say the truth… you may hate me, you may push me away forever. So before that—before you leave me—I want you under me, so you can’t run.”
Jungkook stilled, lips parting, but he didn’t push again. He only clenched his jaw, eyes shining with fear and curiosity. “…Fine. Then talk. I’m listening.”
Taehyung inhaled sharply, closing his eyes for a second as though gathering courage. When he opened them again, there was no CEO mask, no mafia don armor—just a broken man confessing.
“Baby… when I was ten, my amma worked herself to the bone to feed me. We lived in dirt, in humiliation. I begged on streets, fought for scraps. And then—Han Joon Seok found me. A mafia leader. He dragged me into his world. Guns. Blood. Killings. I was terrified, baby… so fucking terrified. But every time I wanted to quit, I remembered my amma’s face. Her sacrifice. So I learned. I became strong. I became merciless.”
Jungkook’s brows furrowed, throat bobbing as he swallowed. Taehyung’s hand squeezed his waist harder.
“Then my mafia boss died. His only son… Cha Eunwoo. A spoiled boy with money he didn’t earn. He listens to me ...as mafia don ....He came to me one day and said—” Taehyung’s voice broke into a low growl. “‘hyung, there’s a boy I want. Jeon Jungkook. I want you to Make his parents afraid. Force him to marry me.’”
Jungkook’s breath hitched, his nails digging into the bed sheets. “Eunwoo… me? He—he wanted me?”
Taehyung nodded slowly, eyes dark. “I swore to him I’d make it happen. Back then, I hadn’t even seen your face, hadn’t even heard your name. I thought it was just a job ...as his Mafia son last wish ..who doesn't know anything .” He leaned down, his lips brushing Jungkook’s ear. “But the moment I stepped into your street, the moment you stopped me asking for help—everything changed. Everything.”
Jungkook’s eyes widened. His chest tightened painfully. “So… you knew? From the start?”
“I swear, baby, I didn’t know it was you. I hadn’t seen a picture. But when I looked at you that first time—your eyes, your voice—fuck, Jungkook, something inside me snapped.” His thumb brushed Jungkook’s trembling lower lip. “You asked me for help, and for the first time in my life, I wanted to save someone, not destroy them.”
The rabbit’s heart pounded. “Then why… why did you…”
Taehyung gave a bitter chuckle, eyes glassy. “Because I’m a selfish bastard. I followed you. I learned you were working in that company. That one day i heard the CEO touched you, even by mistake… I killed him. Do you hear me? I killed him, Jungkook. And then I made myself CEO. Just to be close to you. Just to hear your voice in meetings. Just to watch you laugh with your friends.”
Jungkook’s breath shook, horror flashing in his eyes.
“My obsession grew, baby. Every day, every second. I couldn’t stop. That’s why I kissed you in the lift. You slapped me… God, no one ever dared to lay a hand on me. But you? You slapped me and I didn’t kill you—I melted.” His lips trembled. “Because you’re not just anyone. You’re my medicine. My cure. My everything.”
Taehyung’s forehead dropped against Jungkook’s shoulder. His voice cracked.
“I wanted you to marry me, baby. But when I heard you already had a girlfriend… my heart broke into dust. Still, I waited. I stayed. I prayed maybe one day you’d look at me. Just once.”
Jungkook’s chest rose and fell fast, his throat tight, his mind spinning.
Taehyung’s fingers dug into his waist as a single tear slipped down his cheek, falling onto Jungkook’s skin. “Please… can’t you give me a chance? Just one chance, Jungkook. If you marry someone else… if you belong to another man… that day will be the last day I breathe. I swear it.”
His lips brushed Jungkook’s ear again, trembling with truth. “I love you, bunny. More than my life. More than this world. More than my own breath.”
The mafia don—V, feared by all—was crying above him, broken and desperate, all for the boy beneath him.
