"Ready to go home?" Sam asked, leaning down to the ground to kiss my lips.

I moved my head slightly so he kissed my cheek.

He looked confused but shrugged.

I said bye to all the guys, packed my things, and walked back to Sam's car.

-

We sat down on the couch, Sam ordering a pizza.

When he sat back down, he grabbed my and pulled me close to him.

After a few minutes of silence, I spoke.

"Sam" I questioned.

"Yeah baby?" he asked, looking at my eyes.

"Who's McKenzie?" I asked.

Sam looked up at the ceiling, running his fingers through his hair.

"She was one of the girls I got together with this year" he says.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"We hooked up and had sex you know. And then I broke things off" he said.

He looked ashamed.

I looked down at my hands.

"Why do you ask?" he said, looking towards me.

I lifted my head up to face his.

"She came up to me at the beach today and told me that I'll be the next girl to fall for your trap" I said. His face fell as he looked sad.

He looked away for a moment. I let my face fall down into my hands again.

"Baby" he whispered softly.

I didn't look up.

What if McKenzie was right?

He wrapped his arms tighter around me, squeezing me close to his chest.

I looked up, holding back small tears.

He looked me straight in the eye.

"I promise you" he spoke. "I'm not going to hurt you Sophia." He looked very sincere.

I smiled slightly.

I snaked my arms around his torso as we sat on the couch. Him pulling me closer to him.

"Okay" I whispered as he kissed my head.

-

"Thank you" I said, shutting the door after paying the pizza man.

"I have the money" Sam said, coming back from downstairs.

"Already did it" I laughed.

He frowned.

"Hey. You're letting me stay in your house. The least I could do was pay for a pizza" I laughed.

He chuckled and followed me to the basement, his hand on the small of my back.

He grabbed two plates and napkins, followed by two cans of coke.

We turned on his basement TV, and just laid on the floor eating the pizza.

"Wanna go bowling?" Sam asked.

I checked my time. 6:25pm.

"Sure, why not" I agreed. I finished my slice of pizza and grabbed my bag, walking up to Sam's room to change. He followed quickly behind me.

I walked into Sam's bathroom and straightened my hair with his sisters straightener.

I grabbed my makeup bag as reapplied all my makeup.

I slipped off Sam's clothes and put on my outfit

It was a black halter cropped top, a pair of black high waisted jeans, and a black cardigan. Since it had gotten a little more chilly outside.

I slipped on my black high top converse and walked out of that bathroom.

I walked over to Sam's mirror and fixed my hair and made sure I looked okay.

"You look great" he said, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder.

I turned my head and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks" I said, taking one more look at myself, while Sam removed his hands.

I grabbed my phone from the charger and slipped in into my back pocket.

We drove Sam's car, so it was all I needed.

We pulled up to the bowling ally and walked inside.

"Two please" I said. Sam gave her his credit card and he payed for it.

We got our shoe sizes and walked to the lane.

-

We were having fun while bowling.

I looked over and saw some girls looking at me and laughing.

Sam noticed.

"Ignore them" he said, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards him.

"They're just jealous that I'm with you" he said, trying to comfort me.

"Yeah well" I said.

"Please ignore them, for me" he said.

"I'll try" I said, smiling back.

"Thank you" he said, kissing my temple.

We finished our game.

-

"I told you I'd beat you" I said, smirking.

"Yeah yeah" he laughed.

My phone started ringing as we were laughing.
