"Hurry up" I said, pulling his arm.

"I'm coming I'm coming" he said.

We jumped in his car and drove to my house.

"Let me just get my keys and change" I shouted as we both hopped out.

I ran inside and grabbed my car keys, and sprinted up to my room.

I changed into a pair of shorts and a pullover, and ran back to my bathroom wearing my white converse.

I pulled my hair down from the ponytail and brushed it with a hairbrush.

I quickly fixed up my mascara, and ran outside.

"Let's go" I said as I hopped into the drivers seat.

Sam jumped in and we drove.

"So where are we going again?" he asked.

"My grandparents house. We have to pick up my little brother. My moms coming home today" I said.

"Ahh" he nodded.

We pulled up at there house.

We both got out.

I saw Sam fixing his shirt.

I put my hand on his chest and looked up at him.

"Don't worry. You look fine" I giggled.

We walked up to the door and I opened it.

"Hellooo" I yelled when I opened the door.

"In the living room!" my grandpa yelled back.

I motioned Sam to follow me.

When I walked into the room, Jacob came running towards me.

"Sophia!" he screamed and ran to me.

I picked him up in my arms and hugged him.

"Hi Jakey" I said, rubbing his back. He kissed my cheek and I put him down.

"Hi papa, Hi grammy" I said as I hugged them.

"Who's this?" My little brother asked.

I laughed.

"This is my friend Sam" I said. Sam walked up behind me.

"Nice to meet you sir" he said, shaking my grandpas hand.

"And you too ma'am" he said, shaking my grandmothers.

They both smiled.

"Nice to meet you too Sam" they said.

"Ready to go Jacob?" I asked him. He was collecting all his toys.

"Mhm" he said.

"Thanks again" I said to my grandma and grandpa.

"Anytime dear" they said as they kissed mine and Jacobs forehead.

Sam, Jacob and I walked back outside towards the car.

As we were walking, Jacob dropped his toys.

I helped him pick them up. I picked Jacob up and buckled him into his car seat.

He hugged me again.

"I missed you sissy" he said.

I smiled.

"I missed you to Jakey" I kissed his cheek.

"I wanna play basketball!" Jacob said as we pulled into the driveway.

"Okay buddy" I said as I helped him out of his car seat.

Jacob ran to get the basketball and shot, missing of course.

I walked inside to put all Jacobs stuff away.

When I went back outside, I saw Sam teaching Jacob how to play basketball.

"Good job! Now ready to shoot?" he asked him.

"Uh huh" Jacob said smiling.

Sam picked him up by his waist and lifted him up, allowing Jacob to reach the basket.

"Yay I did it!" Jacob said as Sam put him down.

"I did it sissy did you see me?" he asked.

"I saw you baby good job" I said.

Sam turned and smiled at me.

I mouthed out the words "Thank you" as Jacob ran back to Sam.

"I'm gonna make some lunch" I said as I walked back inside.

Five minutes later, Sam came into the kitchen, holding Jacob upside down and tickling his stomach.

Jacob was laughing.

"Alright boys, time for lunch" I said, laughing and helping Jacob down.

Jacob ran to the sink to wash his hands.

We all sat down to eat.

"Sophia" Jacob said while shoving another piece of his sandwich into his mouth.

"Yes buddy" I replied.

"Did you see me and him play basketball?" he questioned. I giggled.

"Yes I did. And you did a good job" I said, standing up and grabbing a napkin to wipe his face.

He looked at me, and then over at Sam.

He came over to me and pulled my shoulder down so he could whisper something in my ear.

Is he your boyfriend?

I giggled.

"No silly" I said.

Is he your friend?

"Yes"

Well I like him. Hes cool!

I laughed.

"Yes he is"

He sat back down.

"All done" he said and got up. He picked up his plate and threw it in the garbage.

I got up from the table.

"I'm gonna go play on my iPad" he said, walking to his room with his iPad.

"Alright buddy" I said, scruffing his hair as he walked past me.

I walked into the kitchen and started cleaning up.

"Hey" Sam said as he walked into the kitchen.

"Hi there" I said smiling at him.

He put his plate in the sink next to me and kissed my cheek.

"I'm home!" I heard the front door open!

"MOMMY!" I head Jacob scream from upstairs and run down the stairs to my mom.

I walked over to my mom and hugged her.

"Hi baby" she said kissing my forehead.

She looked up and saw Sam watching us.

"Hi. Who are your?" she asked him, confused.

"I'm Sam" he said, holding out his hand.

"He's my friend" I said, standing next to him.

"Nice to meet you Sam" she said shaking his hand and smiling.

I helped her carry her bag up to her room.

"Is it okay if I go out for a bit?" I asked her when she sat down.

"Of course. Text me and let me know what's happening, I'm not worried about you" she smiled.

I got up.

"Bye, Thanks!" I said as I walked out the door, Sam following me.

"My house?" Sam asked.

I nodded.

We drove over to Sam's house.
