Many Months later:
Before the Graduation:
Door bell rings and Jenifer’s parents answer it, to see Josh standing at the front door in a tux.
“Good evening Mr and Mrs Goodwin, I’ve come to pick up Jenifer is she ready.”
“Oh, good evening Josh, Jenifer should be down in a minute. I’ll just go tell her your here.” Mrs Goodwin had answered in a calm, sweet way and then went up stairs to her daughter’s room.
“How’s your day been Mr Goodwin?” Josh said trying to make conversation.
“Good thank you and you?” Mr Goodwin answered with a deep voice seeming to not approve of Josh at all.
“That’s good to here and yes I’ve been fine thank..... you......” Josh said, trailing off on the thank you as he saw Jenifer walk down the stairs.
“You... you look.... beautiful!” He tried to say.
“Hmm, thank you. I hope I haven’t kept you waiting to long.” Jenifer answered looking down at the steps trying to stop from blushing.
“No, not at all.”
There was an awkward silence for a few minutes as they all stood at the front door until Josh broke it.
“So, are you ready to get graduated?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
