It's been five solid years since my whole family died. That very night took everything away from me. My brother, my mom and my
dad...who could survive with all that pain? I was in a coma for about six months with multiple injuries and low chances of survival but Stacy stayed with me. Best of friends due to an incident, we stuck together through thin and thick.

Thinking back over the years, I've come to realise that that accident wasn't a mere one. It was planned, perfected by someone to silence my parents for good. I searched, stomped through everything i could but still end up in a dead zone....something was off and i could feel it, just who were my parents working for?

Talking about Stacy, i wondered where she was. She had been out since 9 in the morning and it was late in the afternoon. I huffed and thought to myself as i grabbed a bowl of crunchy nuts,my favourite cereal and sat down to watch a movie. Ignoring my vibrating phone for the fifteenth time in a row today, i decided to look at it, finally a change of names.

"Hey Stacy." I answered slowly with my eyes currently glued to investigation channel.

Screw the movie.

"Hey cherry,happy birthday!!!"

she exclaimed happily for me. I cringed and pulled the phone a bit from my ears to let my dying eardrum live a bit.

My 20th birthday and i wasn't so glad about celebrating it. This day would forever be filled with sadness and a burning desire, blood for blood.

"I have a surprise for you." She cheered but i shook my head even though she couldn't see it. I've wasted too much time, i needed to get back on track. To be on the edge.

"Oh God Stacy, i don't need any gifts" I replied solemnly, taking a spoon of my untouched cereal while trying to balance my attention between the yapping on the phone to the information on the TV.

"Come on, you'll love it. Please, pretty please with a cupcake on top, i promise you'll love it" Stacy had always been annoying but she looked out and took care of me but frankly, she's more of a pest than a girl.

"Fine! where should i meet you?" I asked, dumping my cereal that had lost its appealing look into the sink as i adjusted the jeans i had on. No use trying to look pretty i guess.

"In the park, hurry up!"she shouted before hanging up. I slowly bit my lip and sighed. She never fails to prickle my temper.

I grab a random long sleeved shirt and tugged it on while shoving my phone into my back pocket. Grabbing my converse, i slowly put them on before heading to the front door. Glancing at the TV to see the criminal's story, i growled and switched it off. Pathetic excuses for the human race.

The park was fairly full today as i revved my car into a manageable parking space. I walked out, the car automatically locking itself as i withdrew my key. I looked around, Stacy still being no where in sight. I pulled my hand through my hair and walked a bit further into the park. Still no sight of Stacy.

"Excuse me, are you here for the fan meeting? " A teenage girl asked but i looked at her skeptically. She shivered at my stare and pointed "the fan meeting, the one direction fan meeting" ding ding ding....finally found where Stacy was and i stomped into the fan meeting.
