Episode 18: Sword

Ethan: Looks at Hunter. "Trust me. I've known Ravi for years and he's capable of crazy things."

Hunter, swelling with mixed emotions, screams and rushes out of the basement. Watching him leave, Ethan looked down and notices another piece of paper hidden under the keyboard. Pulling it out and leaning against the desk, Ethan proceeded to read it.

After reading the note, the camera changes to a tied up unconscious Ravi in a barely lit room. Zooming out, we see two men in suits guarding the door.

Guard 1: "So why do we have to watch this kid again?" He asked half motivated.

Guard 2: "Apparently the boss said he's in cahoots with that Kamen Rider Spirit thing running around and we need him here in case the plan goes south." He responded a bit annoyed.

Guard 1: "Really? Well I heard some of the guys gotten beaten pretty good trying to get this guy. You think the kid did that to them?"

Guard 2: "Don't be ridiculous. It's a kid who spends most of his days in the dark playing video games. How could he beat up three trained DEM soldiers?"

As the guards continued talking outside, Ravi slowly opened his eyes and looked around to check his surroundings. Noticing that he's tied up, he simply rolled his eyes and spotted a piece of broken glass. Stealthily, he uses his foot to reach for the glass piece and once dragging it close to his tied hands, he grabbed it and proceeded to use the glass cut the rope as the camera swapped to Hunter walking through town looking at the letter.

Hunter: In his head. "They took Ravi. I have to go to this place alone or else they'll hurt him. What do I do?" He asked himself in his head, worried and angry.

As he continued his pace, he accidentally bumped into someone, causing them both to fall on the ground. Looking up, Hunter sees Tohka in front of him as she clutches a kinako bread in her arms as she looks to see Hunter.

Tohka: "Oh Hunter. It's you." She said as they both got to their feet.

Hunter: "Hi and sorry Tohka." He apologized while hiding the letter in his pocket. "I gotta go." He tried to leave but is stopped by Tohka.

Tohka: "You don't seem ok. Are you hurt from the fall?" She asked as if sensing something wrong.

Hunter: "No no I'm fine." He said trying to hide is worry.

Tohka: "Are you mad about cleaning Shido's house? I should've known making you do it for free wasn't good. If you want payment then-" She gets cutoff.

Hunter: "No it's not that!" Takes a breath. "Do you mind if I asked you something?"

Tohka: Looks at him confused, but then smiles innocently. "Of course. If it'll help you feel better." She responded while taking a bite of her bread.

Hunter: Hesitates before asking. "Is there someone you'd want to protect more than anything if they done so much to help you and you want to return the favor? Why do I feel all these emotions if I feel like something bad could happen to them?" He finished asking his questions and looked at Tohka who was making a shocked face. "Ah...sorry. Guess those were some weird questions." He apologized looking downwards.
