We start the episode off at the scene of a building on fire, flames roaring. Offscreen, a young boy could be heard screaming as he yells into the building as people held him back. Turning to the boy, it's revealed to be a younger Ethan, covered in ash, bruises, and tears running down his face.
Young Ethan: "NOOO! UNCLE! PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE MY UNCLE!!" He screams in a teary voice.
As the flames grows larger, Ethan tries to get passed the people holding him from running into the building. Just then, Ethan stops as he sees something in the flames...a figure. A figure stands there in the burning building as the young boy stares in confusion and fright. Just then, Ethan wakes up, jolting upright from his bed in a cold sweat. Breathing heavily, he looks around his room before calming himself down and wiping the sweat from his forehead.
Ethan: Takes a deep breath. "It's ok. It's ok. Calm down." He says before rubbing his eyes and hopping out of bed.
Once out of bed, he proceeds to change from his pajamas to his day clothes. Once dressed, he heads to the bathroom and proceeds to brush his teeth, then once done, he rushes down the stairs and heads to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, a bearded man with a baggy shirt and pants and a baseball cap is seen sitting in a wheelchair by the kitchen table. His name was Morris Tadashi, Ethan's uncle.
Ethan: "Morning Uncle!" He said sitting down at the table.
Morris: "Well good morning there Sonny boy." He said taking a bite of bacon. "Got any plans today?" He asked chewing.
Ethan: Eats some eggs. "Oh you know. Gonna head over to Ravi's and hang out." He said as he ate some eggs.
Morris: "And with your new friend, Hunter?" He asked with a smirk.
Ethan: "Of course!" He said with a wide smile.
Morris: "I'm so glad you've made another friend Sonny." He said eating more of his breakfast with a smile.
Ethan: Chuckles. "You're saying it like it was impossible."
At that moment, Ethan's phone pinged. Checking his phone, it was a group text between him, Hunter, and Ravi with the message coming from Ravi. On the message, it states "Come to my house as soon as possible. There's something you both need to see." Widening his eyes, Ethan took a few quick bites of his breakfast and hurried to the front door.
Morris: Watches Ethan in surprise. "Woah, what's the sudden hurry?" He asked turning towards Ethan.
Ethan: Leans on the wall and puts his shoes on. "Sorry, I got a message from Ravi. I gotta rush over. I'll be back later tonight uncle!" He shouted as he grabbed his skateboard and rushed out the door.
Morris: Laughs to himself. "As lively as ever." He said as he smiled and wheeled off screen.
As Ethan hops onto his skateboard and rides down the street, the camera changes to the Gurongi hideout as the Gurongi's are gathered around some crates. As the monsters sat around, La-Balva-Da approaches the group.
La-Balva-Da: (Normal Language) "Good morning everyone. It is time for the next round of the Gegel." She stated while clapping her hands.
Xu-Zain-Da: (Gurongi Language) "Is it my turn?" He ask while hopping off a box.
La-Balva-Da: (Normal Language) "Incorrect." She said as Xu-Zain-Da made an angered expression as she looked over at Xu-Vazuu-Ba. "It is actually Vazuu's turn." She said while pointing at the man.
Xu-Vazuu-Ba: (Normal Language) "So, finally my turn?" He asked as he hopped off a box and pulled out his coin to flip. "About time." He said while smiling and walking up to La-Balva-Da.
