It will be very offensive if they make me believe that I have wasted valuable time coming here.

''Ha'', a short, soft laugh broke the silence. I turn to see Madam Aisha smiling at me. Even in her smile, her expression remains cold. She leans forward '' I like you, Miss Maria''

''And I admire you as well '' She gave a slight nod and looked in Mr Lucian's direction

''What do you think people's reaction would be when this contract is announced to the press?'' she asked

''They would be dumbfounded, they never saw it coming,'' he said

''They will be Curious,'' I added, calling all attention to myself

''Curious?'' Mr Lucian repeated

''Yes, the world will be curious, eager and waiting. A team of Empire and Skyline. The world will want to know what the result will be''

''Curious,'' a deep, smooth voice said. It was the hot black guy '' I like Curios, Aisha'' he said to her, informally

''And Eager'' she said, and I smiled, knowing that I just got myself a contract.

The meeting went on for almost an hour, as Madam Aisha talked about her presence and the kind of location she had in mind. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Mr Lucian's secretary whisper something to him, and it made Mr Lucian Nervous. Then we signed the contract, Madam Aisha signed first, I signed second, and Mr Lucian signed last

''This is it then,'' Colin announced as we all stood up to shake hands

''Adam is going to be around to oversee everything in my absence. If any physical meeting, Colin will be there as well''

''Ok'' Mr Lucian agrees as he takes her hand, and when it was my turn

''I can't wait to see what you offer, Miss Maria''

''And I can't wait to see what working with you will bring'' She looks around when we break free from the handshake and raises an eyebrow in confusion.

''I was told one more person is supposed to be present'' Madam Aisha looked to Mr Lucian, who remained as composed as ever. He gave a small smile, and the corner of his lips gave away his nervousness

''Yes, but it doesn't matter if he is here, I am here''

''Madam, we have to leave now, you have a plane to catch Colin informed, and she nodded''

''I will be off then'', with that she left the office and I followed her every move until she was out of sight.

''Miss Maria,'' Mr Lucian's secretary called my attention to them ''There is someone you would have to meet'' an eyebrow raised unconsciously

''Who?''

''Mr Grayson... A team will be assigned to work with you on the project and he is the head of the team''

''Amm... ok''

''Please sit, he will be here soon'' I sat without a second thought, so did Mr Lucian, who carried a hard expression. Anger is what I saw, and he made no effort to hide it again

''Peter, can you explain to me why Grayson is late?''

''He said he is on his way, sir''

''That was two hours ago'' His voice remained low, but his tone was harsh.

''Grayson'' I whispered the name to myself, saying the name gave me this uneasy feeling, why does it feel off?
