That night, you dreamt of being in the game, the blockiness of it disturbing you. You wandered into the woods, the same woods where you saw Him. It was cold, fog making it hard to see. Suddenly, a hand placed itself on your shoulder. A shiver ran down your spine. You knew who it was, but instead of the happy joy you expected, you were filled with fear-no terror. He turned you around, stabbing you through your stomach. Was this real!? You tasted the blood that had bubbled up your throat, the unbearable pain of the diamond sword through your body, and the shaking feeling of terror from His presence. What was this?? You slowly blacked out, waking up.
You screamed, sitting up in bed in a cold sweat. You shook, still terrified from that dream.
"Just a d-dream?" You asked yourself, hugging your EnderDragon plushie. And it was... Only a dream. But why did He kill you? You didn't know. You lay back down and fell into a fitful sleep.
The next morning was rough, nightmares haunted you all night. All were you being bloodied by Hero. You didn't understand. What had happened to make Him give you dreams? Wait- He was fictional. How could He give you dreams, let alone nightmares? You shook your head and grabbed your morning coffee.
~Time le Skip~
Three days had passed, and nightmares had deadened you. Lack of sleep led to delusions and hallucinations. You swore that you'd see Him out of the corner of your eye, anywhere. He would appear behind you and place His hand on your shoulder, making you jump. It was beginning to feel like He was doing this on purpose. Why?
You gave up, grabbing your tablet and opening Minecraft. You entered the same world you saw Him, only, everything was in the Nether. You blinked. How? How! HOW!? You practically screamed it out loud. The Nether update hadn't come out yet. And to make it worse, your house had burned down. Leaving only a chest (because Minecraft logic). You sighed and opened it, going through what you had to survive.
As you closed it, a sign had appeared. It read, "I know you've been having nightmares. That's me. You're welcome, y/n"
You blinked, exited the world, shut off your tablet, and faceplanted back into bed.
