It was raining in Seoul that afternoon.

A quiet drizzle painted the city in silver. Their manager had a day off, and the others were busy with schedules. So Yeonjun and Beomgyu found a tiny café tucked into a quiet alley no fans, no staff, no eyes.

Just them.

Beomgyu sipped his vanilla latte, steam curling in the space between them. Yeonjun sat across from him, hoodie pulled low, cap tilted slightly.

They weren't touching. But their knees kept brushing under the table.

And neither of them pulled away.

Beomgyu leaned closer. "This feels..."

"Dangerous?" Yeonjun smirked.

"Warm." Beomgyu smiled. "But yeah. Also dangerous."

Yeonjun chuckled softly. "Then let's be careful."

Beomgyu tilted his head. "Hyung..."

"Mm?"

"If someone finds out... what happens to us?"

Yeonjun's smile faltered just a little.

But then he reached out, slipping his hand under the table, fingers grazing Beomgyu's. Their hands stayed hidden beneath the wood, where only they knew.

"I'll protect it," Yeonjun whispered. "Us."

Beomgyu squeezed his hand, eyes soft. "You always say things like that, and then I fall for you all over again."

Yeonjun blinked. His ears flushed red.

"Good," he muttered, grinning. "I want you to."

When they left the café, it was still raining.

They only had one umbrella.

Of course.

Yeonjun held it up, arm extended, shoulder already getting wet.

"Get under here," he said, tugging Beomgyu closer.

Their arms brushed, footsteps matching, the rain soft against the plastic dome above.

"Feels like a movie," Beomgyu murmured, glancing up at Yeonjun.

"You and me," Yeonjun said, "we are the movie."

But just as they turned the corner near their dorm, a voice called out from across the street.

"Yeonjun hyung?"

They both froze.

It was a backup dancer from their agency phone half-raised, eyes wide with recognition.

Panic.

Yeonjun immediately took a step away. Beomgyu ducked his head. The umbrella tilted awkwardly.

"Hey! What are you guys doing here?" she asked, jogging up with a smile.

"Just grabbing coffee," Yeonjun said smoothly, his tone light. "We didn't want to get mobbed so we snuck out."

Beomgyu nodded, keeping his head low. "Rainy walks help with lyrics."

The dancer laughed. "Ahh, I won't tell anyone. But you two are cute even off-camera."

Yeonjun and Beomgyu forced chuckles.

She left.

The second she was out of earshot, Beomgyu sighed deeply. "That was close."

Yeonjun looked at him really looked.

And even though they were soaked and shaken, he smiled.

"Still worth it," he said quietly.

Beomgyu leaned into him just a little. "Yeah. Always."
