It had been a week since that night in the kitchen.

Things between Yeonjun and Beomgyu weren't awkward but they weren't exactly the same either. There was something unspoken lingering in the air now. A kind of awareness. A tension too soft to name, too loud to ignore.

Today, they were at another filming.

More "couple games", more laughter, more acting.

But Yeonjun noticed it all.

The way Beomgyu laughed too loud at someone else's joke.
The way Beomgyu didn't lean on him like he used to.
The way his smile never quite reached his eyes when the cameras were on.

He was holding back.

And Yeonjun couldn't stand it.

The final segment was "Group Hug Relay."

Each member had to hug another member randomly. Fanservice heaven.

Yeonjun watched as Kai hugged Soobin.
Taehyun hugged Kai.
Soobin hugged Taehyun.

And finally... Beomgyu was pushed into Yeonjun's arms.

The staff shouted, "Yesss! Yeongyu moment! Let's gooo!"

Yeonjun forced a grin, lifting his arms as Beomgyu stepped into them.

Their bodies met warm, familiar.

But for the first time, Beomgyu didn't bury his face in Yeonjun's shoulder like he usually did. He kept it polite. Safe.

Like he was scared to do more.

That hurt more than Yeonjun expected.

So he did something reckless.

He tightened the hug.

Not just a little.

Fully.

Wrapped his arms around Beomgyu's waist, pulled him in, and rested his chin gently on Beomgyu's shoulder.

He felt Beomgyu freeze.

The room blurred.

The camera was still rolling.

But Yeonjun whispered so low only Beomgyu could hear:

"This one's just for you."

Beomgyu's breath caught.

And then, slowly... so slowly... Beomgyu relaxed into the hug. His arms wrapped around Yeonjun's back, fingers gripping the back of his shirt like he didn't want to let go.

Their hearts were pounding. Their breaths matched. No one noticed the shift in energy. Not even the staff.

Only them.

Later, when they were in the van heading home, Beomgyu turned to Yeonjun, cheeks still pink.

"Hyung."

"Hm?"

"That hug..." Beomgyu hesitated, eyes flickering to the manager in front, then back to Yeonjun. "That wasn't for the fans, was it?"

Yeonjun turned to him gaze gentle, honest.

"No," he said. "That was just for you."

Beomgyu smiled.

A real one this time.

And for once, they didn't need the cameras to feel seen.
