They had flown to Japan for a travel vlog.
Just the two of them Yeonjun and Beomgyu.
The idea came from their manager: "Let the fans enjoy Yeongyu's natural chemistry in a casual, relaxed setting." But what the team didn't know was... Yeonjun's heart hadn't been relaxed around Beomgyu for weeks.
And now here they were checked into a stylish boutique hotel in Tokyo, two queen beds, soft lights, and only one camera filming for content.
They'd vlogged all day: temples, street food, buying matching phone charms. Everything looked cute on camera. But between the takes, something unspoken pulsed quietly between them soft glances, quiet laughter, fingers brushing "accidentally."
Now it was night.
The camera was off.
And the air was still.
Beomgyu sat cross legged on one bed, hair damp from his shower, scrolling on his phone. Yeonjun sat on the other bed, pretending to watch TV.
Pretending.
That was what they'd been doing for weeks.
Yeonjun broke the silence first.
"Hey," he said softly. "Can I ask you something?"
Beomgyu looked up. "Yeah?"
Yeonjun hesitated. His voice was quiet. Careful. "Back in the dorm... when I said I wanted to find out what we are... did you mean it too? That you... weren't pretending?"
Beomgyu blinked. His phone slipped slightly in his hand. "I meant it."
Silence.
Beomgyu exhaled, lowering his gaze. "I meant it way before you did. I just never thought you'd... feel the same."
Yeonjun felt like the world tilted a little.
Then Beomgyu smiled tired but honest. "I hated seeing you do fanservice with others. I know it's stupid. But it made me want to" He stopped. Bit his lip. "Forget it."
Yeonjun stood.
Walked over.
And sat beside him.
He didn't say anything.
He just reached out slow and unsure and took Beomgyu's hand.
Beomgyu looked down at their fingers. Intertwined. Warm.
"Hyung..."
Yeonjun looked at him. "I think I'm scared," he said. "Because I don't want to lose what we already have. But I also can't keep pretending this is just content."
Beomgyu's voice was soft. "Then don't pretend."
And then, like something unspoken finally clicked Yeonjun leaned in.
Not for a kiss.
Just a forehead resting against Beomgyu's.
Still.
Quiet.
Real.
The city lights blinked outside the window. The camera was packed away. No one was watching.
Except them.
And for the first time... that was enough.

Fiksi PenggemarYeonjun and Beomgyu have always been close the kind of closeness that makes fans scream, edit fancams, and flood comment sections with hearts. They're used to it by now: the ship name, the teasing, the requests to act "sweet" on camera. It's part of...
