Chapter 20 : Private but Not a Secret

But then, Sky told her that he and Nani wanted to be on their own; without the staff, just the two of them. Phi Som went completely silent on the other end of the line. It's not that Sky and Nani never went out without the staff before but; it was very rare. One of those times that they went out without the staff was for their trip to Chiang Mai.

"Sky.. Where are you?" Phi Som asked, after being so quiet for a full minute.

"I'm with Nani.."

Phi Som went completely quiet again, before Phi Thie's voice room over, "Wongravee Nateetorn..! What do you mean you're with Nani?" The panic was clear in Phi Thie's voice.

Sky took a deep breath, "I have talked about this before, right, Phi? I've told you both about my intention.." Sky didn't intend to hide anything anymore, "I also don't want to talk about this on the phone. Nani and I will meet you tomorrow...At the office.."

Phi Thie's stressed loud breathing could be heard clearly.

"Alright.." Phi Som took over the phone and replied. From the sound of it, she sounded calmer and resigned.

Sky didn't lie. He had already come clean about his feelings for Nani to both her and Phi Thie. He had also told him of his plan. That he's going to confess, and if all goes well, he and Nani will make it official. Sky had told them about this months ago. It's just that it took Sky quite a long time that Phi Som and Phi Thie put the matter at the back of their mind.

Though, Phi Som's intuition had been on high alert, ever since the two weeks separation between Sky and Nani. She thought that something would happen. And it did.

"We will meet tomorrow..At the office...10 a.m..." Phi Som said. Sky agreed and then he ended the call.

Nani let out a relieved breath when he heard Phi Som's words.

Sky smiled watching Nani's reaction and flicked Nani's nose softly.

And that's how he and Sky would come to the Variety show today; together, on their own without the staff; including their manager and assistant manager.

Sky sighed, reluctantly, he let Nani go, "Yeah...We should .."

The recording of the variety show will be at 3.30p.m. And both Nani and Sky have never been late for their job before. They always make sure that they'd be at the venue of their work, at least thirty minutes before the job starts.

As they walked to the door together, suddenly Sky stopped. He turned to look at Nani from head to toe, smiling meaningfully. Nani got conscious that he put his hands in front of his chest, blocking Sky's eyes. Sky raised his eyes and looked at Nani teasingly.

"What?!" Nani frowned, "Sky Wongravee...Don't look at me like that...!"

Sky laughed, took Nani's hand and walked to the door.

"For the time being, I can only hold your hands when it's the two of us..." Sky thought about it and amended, "and also in front of the people who know about us...I can't risk touching you too much during our events..I am afraid, I might lose control..." Sky explained, "But, I have no intention of keeping us as a secret for long .."

Nani understood what Sky was telling him. And Nani couldn't agree more.

"We are not a secret though ." He smiled, this time he's teasing Sky, "the fans....the iminas have been calling us ; Private but Not a Secret for months...."

Sky laughed out loud, "I know..." He actually knew more than Nani, because ever since the series ended; and their fan base started to grow; he had been observing them online. He watched as their fan base grew and grew and grew. It was heart warming and also amazing; to have so many people liking him and Nani genuinely.
