He was happy that Penny was alive and Pissed that Ruby gets someone she cared about back

Ruby shrunk in her seat

Penny: don't feel bad friend Ruby, I believe he'll come around.

Raven: in a few years. You don't know how some pains cut really deep.

Amiya: it takes time to heal.

He felt a hand on his back as Jessica was looking at him in worry

Jessica: your turning Red again.

He sees that his Green aura was shifting back to Red

Ironwood noticed and saved it for later

Once Ruby and Penny got settled she introduced her father who was there with her

It seems like this was one of her test runs

They all board the Bullhead and simply chatted while Jaune stayed with Jessica in a corner not mingling

When they got to Atlas Academy they went up to Ironwood's Office

Ironwood: I think introductions are in order. I already know of Qrow and his crew. How about you two.

Jaune: Jaune Arc, Former Student of Beacon and Former Team Leader of the now deceased Team JNPR. New Recruit of the Green Lantern Corps.

That struck a cord in Ruby's chest as Yang held her close

Ironwood then checked on the reports and he felt sorry for the boy as He feels the same way when he lost his entire squad and a few of his limbs in the process

He recognize the Stoic Demeanor Jaune was keeping as a sign of Survivor's Guilt as he made note to have him go through Therapy and Rehab

Ironwood: my Facilities are open to you Mr. Arc. If you ever need someone to talk to just come to my office.

Jaune: I beg your pardon.

Ironwood: I know what it feels like to lose your entire Team especially in one day. If you want to I'm here from 12 tp 5 in the afternoon after that I tend to my Military responsibilities.

Jaune: duly noted.

Ironwood was happy about this version of himself

Qrow decided to leave him alone for a while as to nor spoil the mood
