Hi! I'm a sixteen year old who's been working on a book for two years now (on and off.) I'm planning to publish on amazon, but decided to put a chapter on here to see if people enjoy it.
My name is Mars, and my book (Killing in fear) is somewhat inspired by The Hunger Games. I've written, edited, formatted, designed the cover and made the blurb all on my own without help from anyone (unless you count friends proofreading.)
I'm really passionate about my writing and hope to get a completed book out into the world one day, not to be famous (hence the nickname, Mars), but for people to read what I've spent so long on. Through writing, I feel as if I have achieved something.
I hope you enjoy my writing! Please keep in mind that everything is currently unedited, and I'd love to hear any suggestions you may have to improve! In fact, feedback (good or bad) is encouraged!!!
