Jennie barely had time to think.
With the first concert day fast approaching, their schedules had become relentless-- rehearsals, fitting, press interviews, and endless filming for behind-the-scenes content.
Cameras were everywhere.
And it made things...complicated.
Jennie was used to be careful.
she had spend years perfecting the art of maintaining distance, keeping things private, ensuring that the public only saw what she wanted them to see.
But with Lisa?
It was different.
Because Lisa had a way of closing the space between them without thinking.
A touch to her back when guiding her through a crowd. A lingering glance when she thought no one was looking. The way her fingers always seemed to find Jennie's wrist, her waist, her hand-- like it was second nature.
And now, with cameras constantly rolling?
Jennie had to be the one to remind them to be careful.
The first time it became an issue was during dance rehearsals.
They had been practicing the concert setlist for hours, sweat clinging to their skin, bodies sore from the relentless choreography.
Lisa had been teasing her the whole time-- stealing playful glances, brushing their shoulders together, winking when their eyes met in the mirror.
And Jennie had done a good job ignoring it.
Until she hadn't.
At one point, Lisa had danced a little too close during a freestyle break, her hand grazing Jennie's hip in a way that wasn't exactly friendly.
jennie had caught her wrist instinctively, holding it for half a second too long-- long enough to see the flicker of amusement in Lisa's eyes.
And then--
"Lisa, Jennie!"
The choreographer's voice snapped them back to reality.
Both of them turned at once, finding one of the staff memebers adjusting a camera rig nearby.
Filming.
Jennie's stomach tightened.
Lisa stepped back immediately, her expression unreadable, but Jennie could feel the shift.
They needed to be more careful.
Later that night, after rehearsals, lisa flopped onto the dorm couch, groaning.
"I feel like my legs are going to fall off."
Jennie sat beside her, stretching out her arms. "That's what happens when you dance for seven hours straight."
Lisa sighed, leaning back, her eyes closing for a brief moment.
Then, without opening them, she murmured, "You were acting weird today."
Jennie stiffened. "What?"
Lisa cracked one eye open, looking at her. "You were distant."
Jennie exhaled, shifting slightly. "Lisa, the cameras were everywhere."
