"Gamin, I think something's wrong. There's no way she would sign up for the study group."

"What? Why not?"

"Lee Jiwoo, she's Hyunwoo's sister. Rumor has it that she has the same reputation as him."

"What are you guys doing here?"

Minju was walking into her class when she noticed two boys poking their heads from the door, eyes darting between each of the girls inside. Startled at her voice, they turned around to face Minju.

"I told you we could've just texted her," Sehyun mumbled.

Gamin ignored his complaint and spoke to Minju, "We're looking for Lee Jiwoo, do you know her? Ms. Lee told us she signed up."

"Lee Jiwoo? Yeah, she's in my class. Let me go get-"

"Hey, Lee Jiwoo!" A screeching voice sounded as a girl stomped inside the classroom. The girl walked up and slapped Jiwoo across her face. Hard.

All heads turned to check out the commotion.

"Didn't I tell you to finish the math test today and leave it on my desk?" Mihee spat while chewing her gum loudly.

Jiwoo sat at her desk with crossed arms, while her friend, Heewon, stood warily beside her.

Unbothered, Jiwoo replied, "You don't have to be all dramatic, barging in here and starting a ruckus while smacking your gum."

"It's annoying to be tied to you just 'cause of my amazing boyfriend," she added sarcastically.

"You think Gyujin actually thinks of you as his girlfriend?" Mihee laughed. "If you want me to stop bothering you, then pay back what your brother owes us, yeah?"

She took a look at the piece of paper held by Heewon and grabbed it forcefully, the paper now crumpled.

"What's this? Did you do it and not give it to me?"

She read the first few lines, "Midterm preparation plan? Ha! For fuck's sake!"

Mihee threw it onto the ground and stomped on it.

"You should be finding part-time jobs, Jiwoo. Not studying hard like this. It's not for someone like you."

As her gaze shifted from the paper on the ground to the girls in front of her, she noticed Heewon's hesitant stare. "The fuck are you looking at? It's like you're asking for a beating," she threatened.
