The boy, Sehyun, pursed his lips in defeat and turned to face her, eyes full of uncertainty. He quickly diverted his eyes to face his friend, "Do you not know who she is? You'll become common enemy number one just by talking to her!"
Gamin was about to retort before Sehyun pulled him into a corner, hushed whispers originating from the both of them.
"Why are you so eager to get her into our study group?"
"Did you not hear? She's the top 1 student in our grade!"
"Couldn't you pick someone else? Anyone else but her!"
"She's the best one there is, might as well ask."
"Gamin, you stubborn, foolish-"
Minju watched as they continued their murmured bickering in plain sight, right in front of her. She straightened. Amused, she clasped her hands behind her back and snuck up behind them.
"I'll join your study group."
Both boys' turned towards her slowly, eyes bulging in surprise.
"Wait, really?" Gamin asked.
"Did you expect me to say no?" Minju paused. "You did actually want me to join, right?"
Gamin quickly brushed off his earlier bewilderment, "Yeah, yeah of course."
"Give me your phone, I'll give you my number."
Gamin quickly took out his phone and handed it over. With a couple taps, Minju typed down her number, saving it as 'Kim Minju.'
"Text me when we'll have our first meeting, 'kay?"
She gave the phone back to Gamin, turning in the opposite direction to head to her homeroom class. From the other side of the corridor, two eyes burned the back of her head.
Only, she didn't quite notice them.

Back at the classroom, before Minhwan left her to her studies, he had asked her about her plans that afternoon.
"What are you doing later after school?" he asked, sitting backwards on the chair in front of her desk. Minhwan flipped through her organized notes.
Minju, on the other hand, continued on with her assignment, "I have a meeting."
"Meeting? What meeting?"
"I have my first meeting with the study group today."
Minhwan simply pouted, "But it's been so long since the three of us hung out. Come on, have some fun."
"Didn't we just hang out at the lounge last week?"
"Last week was forever ago. We miss you, Minju," he teased.
Minju simply rolled her eyes, "Stop being whiny."
Minhwan huffed.
A presence at the door to the back of the classroom caught his attention. Without hesitation, Minhwan got up and skipped his way to the door.
