"I know what you feel, my friend," Pure Vanilla said gently. "I wish to go now as well. More than anything. But everyone is exhausted and wounded from battle. If we are to save them, we must be at our best. Let's return to the Cookie Kingdom, rest, and then we will find them and bring them home." His last words carried a quiet strength, a promise unbreakable.

Strawberry Cookie sniffled again, looking up hesitantly. "But... what do we tell Almond Cookie? He'll want to know where Reader Cookie is..."

Pure Vanilla Cookie offered her a small, reassuring smile. "Let me handle it."

Wizard Cookie sighed, rubbing his temples. His exhaustion, both physical and emotional, was palpable. "Oh, he won't be happy. Not one bit..."

GingerBrave blinked, tilting his head in confusion. "Why?" he asked, his voice innocently curious.

Wizard Cookie groaned. "You'll see soon enough."

"WHAT?! THEY WERE TAKEN BY A BEAST!!!"

"OH that what you meant Wizard Cookie!"

Let rewind that shall we?

As everyone arrived back at the Cookie Kingdom, they were transported by their balloon. The journey had been quiet, weighed down by exhaustion and grief. The echoes of the battle, the sight of the portal sealing shut, and the memory of their friend being taken haunted them. Their limbs felt heavy, their hearts even more so. But they knew—no matter how tired they were—there was no time to waste.

As they made their way toward the castle to rest, they were met by Custard Cookie III, Chili Pepper Cookie, and Latte Cookie.

"HI GUYS!! You're back!" Custard Cookie III beamed, running toward them with his usual energy, oblivious to the dark cloud hanging over them.

"Finally!" Chili Pepper Cookie smirked, arms crossed. "I thought you guys would never come back!"

Latte Cookie gave a relieved smile. "Good to see you!... But where's my student? Did they go off to cause chaos around the kingdom?"

Pure Vanilla Cookie's expression darkened, the mere mention of Reader Cookie twisting a knife deeper into his already wounded heart. "Well, not exactly... You see... They were kidnapped by Shadow Milk Cookie."

The cheerful atmosphere immediately soured. Custard Cookie III's smile faltered, Chili Pepper Cookie's cocky grin dropped, and Latte Cookie's eyes widened in shock.

At that moment, Almond Cookie arrived with Walnut Cookie. His ears immediately perked at the word "kidnapped," his detective instincts kicking in.

"Who was kidnapped? Tell me the details—who took them?"His voice was sharp, demanding, yet controlled. He was a detective first and foremost, and he needed the facts.

Pure Vanilla Cookie remained calm, steady. "Reader Cookie was taken by the Beast of Deceit."

Almond Cookie's expression darkened, his grip tightening around the edge of his coat. His face betrayed no panic, but the fire in his eyes spoke volumes. He listened in silence as the group explained everything—Shadow Milk Cookie, his obsession with Reader Cookie, and how he had taken them through a portal into the unknown.

The moment the explanation ended, the dam burst.

And that  a momment where he started to shout and the rest you know.

"WHAT?!" Almond Cookie's voice cut through the air like a crack of thunder. "You're telling me a BEAST took them? And you let that happen?!" His fists clenched as his body tensed, the exhaustion he always carried now replaced with sheer rage.
