Taehyung’s POV.
Taehyung descends the stairs, rubbing the back of his neck. He didn’t get much sleep last night. No matter how much he distracted himself, his mind kept returning to Jimin.
But today was a new day. He just had to act normal.
When he reaches the dining table, however, something feels off. The usual sight of Jimin sitting there, waiting for him, is missing.
Taehyung frowns, glancing at the empty seat.
He checks his watch. Did he oversleep?
With an uneasy feeling creeping into his chest, he heads toward Jimin’s room.
But when he pushes open the door—it’s empty. The neatly made bed tells him that Jimin left a while ago.
Taehyung turns to a passing housemaid. "Where’s Jimin?"
The servant bows slightly. "Young master already left for school, sir."
Taehyung’s brows furrow. "With who?"
"A young man came to pick him up."
Something in Taehyung snaps into place. Jimin left… without him?
Without another word, Taehyung pulls out his phone, immediately calling Jimin.
No answer.
He calls again. Still no answer.
His jaw clenches as he types a message:
"Where are you? Why didn’t you wait for me?"
With frustration simmering in his chest, Taehyung grabs his car keys and leaves for school.

Jimin’s POV
Jimin sits in the dance studio, stretching his legs, his phone buzzing on the floor beside him. He doesn’t even glance at it.
He knows exactly who is calling.
Taehyung.
Jimin exhales through his nose, irritation creeping up again. Oh, now he wants to talk?
He had spent last night waiting. Calling. Hoping. And Taehyung ignored every single one of his calls.
So, why should he answer now?
A small smirk tugs at his lips. Let him feel what it’s like.
Last night, after so much thinking, Jimin had made up his mind. He needed to stop chasing Taehyung for a while—not because he was giving up, but because Taehyung needed to understand what it felt like to be ignored.
And what better way than to focus on something else?
So, early in the morning, he called Kai.
"Come pick me up for school. I need a ride, and I need to practice."
Kai, always eager to help (and flirt), had been more than happy to oblige.
Now, sitting in the dance studio, Jimin cracks his neck and gets ready for practice. The dance competition was coming, and if Taehyung wasn’t going to make time for him, then fine.
Jimin would make time for himself.

Three Days Later…
The house felt empty.
Jimin had thrown himself into dance practice, spending every spare moment in the studio. If he wasn’t at school, he was practicing. If he wasn’t practicing, he was sleeping.
Taehyung, on the other hand, had been keeping himself occupied with his friends. Jungkook, J-Hope, and Lisa had dragged him out multiple times for hangouts, and he went along—anything to keep his mind off Jimin.
But no matter how busy they were, no matter how many times they walked past each other in the house, something felt off.
They barely saw each other.
They barely spoke.
And for the first time since their parents left, the silence felt suffocating.

At breakfast, Taehyung sat at the table, staring at his tea. Jimin’s usual seat was empty. Again.
The housemaid set down a plate of food in front of him just as his phone buzzed.
Incoming Video Call: Mom
Taehyung sighed and picked up, his screen filling with Namjoon and Jin’s concerned faces.
"Taehyung-ah! How are things? Is Jimin eating well? Are you both taking care of each other?" Jin’s worried voice filled the quiet kitchen.
Taehyung forced a small smile. "Yeah, we’re fine, Emma. Everything’s good."
Jin narrowed his eyes. "Then why does the house look so empty?"
"Where’s Jimin?" Namjoon asked, frowning.
Taehyung hesitated. "He… left early for dance practice."
Jin blinked in surprise. "Again?! Has he been eating properly? He forgets when he’s too focused!"
Taehyung clenched his jaw. "I… don’t know."
"YOU DON’T KNOW?" Jin repeated, looking shocked.
Namjoon raised an eyebrow. "You two live in the same house, and you don't know if your brother is eating properly?"
Taehyung groaned, rubbing his temple. "He’s busy. I’m busy. We just… haven’t had time to talk much."
Jin gasped dramatically. "WHAT?!"
Namjoon sighed, shaking his head. "I left you in charge, Taehyung. You're supposed to be taking care of him."
Jin pouted. "Did you two fight? Are you ignoring each other? Oh no, did my babies break their bond?!"
Taehyung choked on his tea. "Emma! It’s not like that!"
"Then what is it like?" Namjoon pressed.
Taehyung gritted his teeth. Even he didn’t know anymore.
After another few minutes of Jin scolding them and Namjoon sighing like a tired father, the call finally ended.
Taehyung leaned back in his chair, frustrated.
Was he really ignoring Jimin?
Or was Jimin ignoring him?

That evening, as Taehyung stepped into the house after hanging out with his friends, he checked his phone.
No messages from Jimin.
Not even a missed call.
His lips pressed into a thin line. It had been three days. Was Jimin really too busy, or… was he just trying to avoid him?
For the first time, Taehyung wanted to find out.
And he knew exactly where to go.
With a determined breath, he grabbed his car keys.
It was time to pay a visit to Jimin’s dance studio.
