Merlin: The missing prince

After they went over the battle plan a couple of times before, they knew they were ready.

The next day, the plan was going surprisingly well. Arthur, Gwaine, George and Merlin gave the others ahead start before they made their way to Morgana. They snuck through, under an undetectable invisibility spell, courtesy of George, and before they knew it, they were in Morgana's presence.

" Hello Morgana" Arthur said while Gwaine, George and himself walked out, letting Merlin stay hidden

" Hello dear brother. Still missing your little Merlin? I hope so, I want to see you die by the hands of your beloved friend" Morgana laughed making it very hard for the three to not smirk

" Come on out Merlin" Morgana said and looked to her left, seeing Merlin

" Kill them" Morgana said simply

" MERLIN NOW!" Arthur yelled, expecting that Merlin to disappear but, stared in confusion when it didn't. They looked where the Merlin that came with them, only to find him missing.

" Oh, did you really think I would make it that easy? Please! I sent the fake Merlin with you, and kept the souless one with me. Were you really that stupid?" Morgana laughed with evil Merlin

" No" George whispered

" Where is Merlin you bitch!" Gwaine shouted, taking out his sword ( A/N WOO GWAINE!)

" Oh he is right here dear Gwaine" Morgana laughed before throwing Gwaine against the wall ( A/N MAN DAMN YOU MORGAN BURN IN HELL)

" You didn't count one one thing Morgana" George said, realizing what was going on

" Oh and just what is that" Morgana smirked

" That the soulless Merlin would want his soul back, NOW!" George screamed and Merlin blasted Morgana, knocking her out. He walked over to her and put his hand over her head, muttering some words Arthur couldn't hear

" There. Her magic is gone" Merlin breathed out

" Merlin, h-how? Wh- I- What just happened?" Arthur said

" Damn I broke him again" Merlin cursed

" That you did Sire" George laughed before realizing what he said "oops" he muttered upon see the Camelot's king gape at the wide eyed warlock
" 'Sire'? Something you need to tell me, Merlin" Arthur trued to sound teasing instead of what he actually thought which was 'How is it you have survived this long under all that pressure? A crown prince with magical gifts forced to flee to the very place that murdered his kind only to find he has a destiny to protect me and then lose close friends and family along the way. Wait a second, Balinor was the king of Ambrosia meaning he was...crap'
" So Balinor was your..." Arthur trailed off
"Father, yep" Merlin answered, averting his eyes for a split second
" And then I told you..." Arthur trailed off once more, as both he and Merlin recalled what he said to the young man who had just lost his father
" I'm...... I'm sorry Merlin" Arthur finally said after a long time of silence
" You didn't know Arthur, it's, it's fine" Merlin forgave Arthur in a heartbeat
" You and I both know know it's not fine, Merlin, But, I'm guessing you have to return to Ambrosia" Arthur half asked, half stated, knowing the answer
" Yes, we still need you help though, I.... I'm sure it could wait, seeing as many of us still need time to heal and..er adjust" Merlin said, not meeting Arthur's eyes
"Time for another one of our famous adventures. While we wait though, I would love to hear the story of your time at Camelot and Ambrosia, I'm sure all of us would enjoy it" Arthur laughed making Merlin smile sheepishly
" Well you lot are in for an interesting ride, aren't you?" George laughed, not exactly envying the people of Camelot
