Cardin simply made a mental debate that last for minutes to half an hour then he spoke

Cardin: I lost someone dear to me because of Faunus.

He then nods for him to continue

Cardin: we were simply walking along the side walk until a van parked right across from us. I saw two faunus ran away from the van and then I was suspicious.

Before I could take .......my.....sister away and run....it blew up and knocked us both down.

When I came to, I moved my sister only to see she was killed by...... debris.... and shrapnel.

I felt nothing...and hate......

Then news came through that it was a White Fang attack.

My family was ruined and I had nothing else to blame than them.

Everyone was horrified by this reveal, how many people has the same story as this Cardin from their world

Adam stood up and walked towards Cardin and he bowed

Adam: I am truly sorry for all the pain I caused many of you.

Cardin:...................

He couldn't believe what he is hearing but with all they have seen he knows this was they were being taught

Cardin: I don't know if I will ever forgive you. But I will not blame the Faunus for what happened.

Ilia: we are truly sorry.

Blake: I had you all wrong Cardin.

Cardin: like I said, it's.........alright. It will take time but I am willing to give you people a chance.

Sienna: and that's all we could ever or even had the right to ask for.

He stood angrily and paced

Cardin: they behaved like animals!! They deserve to die like them too!

Jaune stood and stops him

Jaune: Cardin, do you believe she will want to see you turn into this?

He looks at him with tears

Jaune: at the end of the day hatred breeds hatred. They took someone you loved, and if you continue with your line of thought you might take away someone who was loved and they vow to kill people like you.

And the Cycle continues.

I know what's like to lose someone precious Cardin. But we can't let ourselves be chained down by our grief and hate.

It is our duty as Huntsman to do what's right. It may be hard but not impossible.

I want you to not generalize the hate. The White Fang are the reason for your pain not the Faunus at large.

Learn to see beyond the person.

Only then you'll be the better man.
