Indigo Hall, 24, was upset over losing her girlfriend to transformation. Indigo felt guilty that her girlfriend had transformed because she didn't bring a fourth mask.

"Why her? Why can't I be the one who would have sacrificed myself?" Indigo sobbed as she didnt want to let go of her girlfriend, as she was sobbing like crazy, hyperventilating and sweating as well. Indigo's heart was beating faster as she was going through a panic attack, feeling so sick to her stomach as well.

Indigo also clutched onto her chest as she could feel guilt, anger, fear and sadness beginning to take her over as she doesn't want to become an object, she doesn't want to accept the fact that Valerie is now gone.

She didn't deserve to lose her girlfriend to transformation, she didn't want to know what really happened back there or what had become of Valerie.

Suddenly, a pat on the shouler, coming from Lydia, as Indigo looked up, with a worried expression on her face.
"Indigo, we cannot look back, we must move forward if we ever want to stop all this!" Lydia reassured Indigo.
"Forward? How is that going to help, we have to keep Valerie alive through our memories, do you even care about anyone around here?!" Indigo asked, feeling more anger than usual.
"I don't usually say this, but I do care when people around us are transforming into fictional characters! I care about Valerie, but if we ever want to see everyone again, we must leave the dome now!" Lydia shouted.
"But my girlfriend is still in there... suffering..." Indigo sobbed.
"Your girlfriend will see you again after all of this is over, after the cure has been rolled out to EVERYONE!" Lydia replied.
"Well, I cannot bear to know what really happened to her!" Indigo sobbed, "She's suffering..."
Lydia then grabbed Indigo's hand as Indigo yiped.
"Can you focus on the task at hand? I cannot bear to see you crying over what's already been done. We have to leave, now!" Lydia shouted as she began pulling Indigo over towards the tunnel as Black Square was following them as well.

Indigo was sobbing as she didn't want to leave her girlfriend behind, but Lydia wasn't going to let anyone get in the way of finally stopping everything that has been happening for the past few years. Lydia cannot let Craig win... it was a horrifying thought, unthinkable even. Before everyone knew it, all three of them have arrived at the emergency exit.

Indigo looked at Lydia, with teary eyes. "S-so, this is really the end, isn't it?"
"Yes, it is, Estrella and Deanna had discovered this a long time ago, maybe we will have a better chance at escaping." Lydia replied, "Are you ready to finally leave this place behind?"
"For Valerie..." Indigo gulped.
"Yes, we are doing it for Valerie." Lydia replied, "And once it is all over, they'd know who to thank."
"Us?" Indigo asked.
"Exactly." Lydia replied.

Suddenly, before they could all leave, they all heard footsteps coming from five people.
"Craig's coming, we have to leave before he transforms us both into characters from that show!" Lydia replied.
"Well, if one of us has to sacrifice ourselves so the other two can leave, then it has to be me." Indigo sighed, "Without Valerie, I am more useless than an outdated PC from the 2000s."
"You are not useless, and Valerie wouldn't want you to sacrifice yourself just so I could get out. After all, I am not the one who understands what Bessie's going through right now." Lydia replied.
"Well, you have to leave with Bessie, bring all this to the research lab's attention, maybe you have a higher chance at survival than anyone around here!" Indigo cried, "We are running off borrowed time here! I am not going to waste it arguing over who's going to sacrifice herself for the others!"
