Mikoto dashed forward, her hands glowing as she invoked Futsunomitama. Ethereal chains shot forth, wrapping around the Black Goliath and locking it in place. Seizing the opportunity, Igris leaped high and brought his longsword down in a ruthless arc, cleaving the monster's arm clean off.
Bell's Argonaut reached full charge. Golden light pulsed in his hand, the energy roaring like a star on the verge of collapse.
"Heroic Shot!"
The blast erupted from his palm like a divine judgment, the sheer force obliterating the Black Goliath's upper body in a single, devastating strike.
But Bell wasn't finished.
With a final lunge, he plunged Hestia's Knife into the remains, severing its last vestige of life. The monster let out a final, gurgling roar before collapsing into the dust.
Silence fell over the battlefield.
Then, Bell felt it.
A surge of energy coursed through him as his status screen flashed before his eyes.

A dark vortex swirled around the remains. The adventurers watched in silent awe as the Black Goliath's colossal form began to rise once more. But this time, it was different. Its body was smaller, its glowing eyes devoid of its former rage.
