❝Life is so unfair, isn't it? There are so many people out there in the world, who wants to achieve so many things in their life, yet can't because their circumstances doesn't allow them to.❞ I say as I lay on the terrace, looking at the full moon above us.
❝Hmm... It is but, in my opinion, that's just how it's supposed to be. If everything was equal and fair, it would conclude to an utopian world. And Utopia is a just a load of bullshit. We are humans, we have complex emotions, we get jealous, feel hate... all these negetive emotions are also what makes us human. Being human has its positive and negetive aspects and theory of Utopia, blatantly dismiss the negetive aspect. In all honesty, if we fight against the odds of life and create opportunities for ourselves, then maybe we will be able to create a fair life for ourselves.❞ He say. I look at him from my side, he lay there with his eyes closed. He looked like a piece of tranquil beauty at that very moment.
❝That makes sense as well...❞ I say acknowledging his words. He then takes out his phone and checks the time.
❝I should head in now, time for my medication. Talk to you later?❞ He asks, facing me from his side.
❝See you tomorrow!❞ I say, a small smile sneaking on his face. He gets up and kneels down near me, handing me his iPod. He then bends down and kisses on my forehead.
❝Our playlist is in there, listen to it while you lay and gaze at the moon because the moon is so beautiful tonight, isn't it?❞ He then suddenly gets up without waiting for my answer, and bee-lines to the exit. Leaving me alone in the deafening darkness, luminous shine of the moonlight, solace of our playlist and the ghost of his lingering kiss on my forehead.
❝Yeah... it is.❞ I whisper to myself, letting my fingers gaze over the place where he had kissed. I look back at the exit door. He had vanished into thin air. He was gone just like that. It won't be long, before he fades away from my life as well.
