Hacked - Part 1

But what happens now without Jeremy's help?

Jenny went back to forcing out a portal to the very core of Lyoko as Yumi dashed out of the tower and searched for Ulrich and Odd.

"Odd! Ulrich!" Yumi called out.

No answer.

"Ulrich! We need to get in the tower!" Yumi called out again.

No answer still.

"Where in the world did the boys go?"
She thought to herself.

Laser shootings caught her attention and she turned around to see a huge Krab with tentacle-like hands sticking out from it's top and the best part was that it's flying.

"What in the world...?" Yumi said in disbelief.

She quickly spotted Odd and Ulrich and screamed at them to go to the tower where Jenny's at.

"Let us take them down first!" Odd shouted back.

"No! You will die here, for real! Now, HURRY!"

The boys got the obvious hint and when they saw a chance to run, they did.

Lasers were shot, explosions on the ground were approaching them every step they took.

Despite running, the mob or creature is catching up to them fast and this wasn't a good sign.

"What is that thing?! It's disgusting!" Odd complained picking up his pace.

"I don't know. But whatever it is, we need to get away from it, fast!" Yumi aimed at the tower and make a straight dash towards it.

By a few mere seconds, they escaped death. The mob released a huge bomb that exploded as soon as the trio went into the tower.

They were lucky they managed to have escaped death.

The trio, lying on the ground, now panting. Till now, they still cannot believe they were chased after that thing.

"Get up, we need to leave now. This tower isn't going to be able to withstand the monster outside much longer." Jenny said as she pulled Yumi up.

The rest got up and stood behind Jenny.

"Here goes nothing." Jenny reached her hands out and tried to pull something open from thin air.

It looked weird and dumb because she was pulling at something amongst nothing.

At first, the trio looked at her weirdly but soon their jaws were hanging from their mouths.

A bright light shone through from what seemed like an entrance as Jenny pulled the "door" bigger.

"Here!" Jenny took a deep breath, "the portal! Let's go!"

She walked in and the trio just looked at each other dumbfounded.

"Hurry!" Jenny shouted, her voice echoed through the portal.

The trio nodded and hurried in.

"Oh my god!" Ulrich jumped as soon as he realised he was walking on nothing.

There was a platform alright, but it was invisible.

The trio looked up and saw a sea above them. Below, nothing but a deep, dark abyss.

They gulped and looked straight ahead.

"Okay! This is the core guys!" Jenny said excitedly.

"This little glowing box?" Odd squinted his eyes trying to get a clear look at it.

"It's not 'little' and definitely not a 'box'." Jenny crossed her arms. "Let me show you."

She gently placed the glowing cube in her hands and used both her hands to spread it out. (A/N: like she did a zoom in thing with both hands, you guys get it right?😁)

The gang was surrounded with words, maps, codes. They were in the core itself.

"Woah..." The trio chorused.

Jenny smiled proudly.

"See? Told ya." She tapped Odd's nose cheekily and turned to a red dot that was floating.

I swear, Odd almost melted to the ground. Almost.

"That's the source of XANA's hack..." Yumi said.

"Correct! Not bad Yumi, you know your stuff." Jenny picked out that red dot and spread it across the floor.

Everyone gasped at the complicated links that interconnected with each other.

"This isn't any ordinary hack." Ulrich said while bending down.

"Hm..." Jenny kneeled down and tapped on some of the links. "This is going to take a while."

Im so proud of myself, I typed everything out without stopping. BUTBUT im even more proud because im finally bringing things to action? I don't know..

Lemme rephrase everything: things are sure getting exciting and hot out here! :D

Lyoko's hacked by XANA and now XANA has full control on Lyoko, Aelita's XANA-pped(get it? XANA-kidnapped? Nope? Okay.) and no one knows where she is! Will the gang be able to win this battle or will they lose Aelita forever? *DUN DUN DUN*

The most confusing thing is how and why is Jenny able to do all the things she did?! Like: WHATTTTT?😱😱 Yumi isn't the only one confused here.. Read on and find out! :)
