~Chapter 4~

Jenny tried to walk but stumbled along the way.

"W-where am I?" Jenny said as she looked around her surroundings for any familiarity.

"Jenny, I-"

"Aelita hurry up! This "earthquake" is not helping!" Jeremy cut Aelita off.

Jenny looked at Aelita, her mind drowning with questions. When she opened her mouth to ask Aelita something, she quickly shut it.

"Jenny, i'm sorry. Besides, you'll forget this incident. Goodbye." Aelita said as did her thing and the tower was deactivated.

Jeremy's voice echoed around the tower, "Return to the past now!"

In a matter of seconds, everyone was blinded by a white light.

The gang opened their eyes and looked around their environment; the usual noisy cafeteria, annoying Sissi at her finest...

The only thing that was new, well "is" new, is Jenny.

Odd noticed the awkward tension that was rising within the table, "Hey! Jenny are you going to eat that delicious scone?"

Jenny looked up, her eyes focusing on Odd then shifted straight to Aelita.

"Aelita, what happened back there?" Jenny asked.

Everyone was taken aback by Jenny's question.

"What do you mean what happened? We have always been here. Eating." Aelita's words sounded unsure and that only increased Jenny's suspicion.

"There was an earthquake, then I woke up in a weird building with you and then we're back at this place? Someo-"

Yumi placed her hand over Jenny's mouth.

The gang looked at each other, having a silent eye-to-eye discussion on whether they should tell Jenny the truth.

"Mmphmmff!" Jenny struggled to get Yumi's hand off.

"You need to promise us that you won't tell anything to anyone." Yumi said and as soon as she saw Jenny's nod she moved her hand away.

"Okay, tell me exactly what's going on." Jenny said.

"Wait... You're telling me there's this entirely other world?"

"Virtual world." Jeremy corrected.

"Okay, a virtual world that's called, "Lyoko" and in this "Lyoko" place, there's an evil thing called X.A.N.A that practically wants to conquer the world?"

"Sort of..." Ulrich scratched his head.

"And those ugly and creepy monsters that captured me are XANA's minions?"

"Yup!" Odd nodded.

"Huh." Jenny sank back down in her seat to process her thoughts.

The gang looked at her, all expecting her to deem them crazy.

"Hey, can I say something?" Jenny said, suddenly getting serious. "I saw this image, it wasn't clear but... I saw a woman with long pink hair. Like you, Aelita."

All the attention went to Aelita.

"Like mine?"

"Yes. And I heard her singing a song. It sounded familiar." Jenny's brows frowned as she tried to recall the name of the song.

"What song? How did it sound like?" Aelita grabbed Jenny's hands.

"Erm... I don't know the name but it went like this: La la la la, right here in ny arms... That's all I heard."
