"But he is not the one fighting on the mat." Chozen exclaims to us.
"Sensei Chozen's right. We have the rest of the day to tune up for tomorrow. What's the plan?" Robby replies.
"Knock Kreese's head off his neck, for starters."
"Dad? Dad?" Sam turns to look at the distracted Daniel.
"What?"
"Training? For our final fights?"
"Yeah, we'll run through the usual stuff." He replies nonchalantly, causing me and Chozen to both raise our eyebrows at him.
"Senseis' need time to discuss." Chozen states reassuringly.
"Go get changed, meet me at gym."

"Let's go!" Johnny yells.
"Come on, keep it up!" Daniel shouts.
Me, Robby, Miguel and Sam are jogging through the busy streets of Barcelona while Sensei Daniel and Lawrence chase us with a rickshaw.
"That's it Sam!" Daniel states proudly.

It's mainly just me and Miguel watching Sam and Robby train ferociously for their semifinal matches. Sensei Lawrence and Daniel take us to several different places to help us, mainly Sam and Robby, to train.
I have no idea why me and Miguel even tagged along to this Captain training session.

"Hey, Kiara." Kwon approaches me outside of the arena just as I'm about to go in early for the match.
"Hey, Kwon. What's wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong. I was just wondering if, you wanted to be my girlfriend? Look, I know we said that we should focus on the Sekai Takai and stuff while we're here, but I don't know when else I'll get a chance to say this so I'll just ask now. Will you be my girlfriend? I just wanna ask because I just feel like we're running out of time, I know the Sekai Takai hasn't ended yet, but I just feel like we are."
"I don't know, Kwon, what about our long distance? This is a big decision I need some time to think about it, if that's fine with you?"
"Yeah, yeah. Of course, that's fine, but no matter what you say my feelings won't change for you. How about you let me know after the match?"
"Yeah, sure, that should be enough time for me to think."
"I'll gladly wait for your answer." He goes to grab my hand and lovingly squeezes it.
"I know you will."
Our eyes met and locked, it's like weight has been temporarily lifted off my shoulders when we make eye contact. Looking at him in his gi reminds me of when I first met him; when we barely knew each other and what was yet to come, when we hadn't made the memories we have now and when our eyes didn't light up at the sight of each other.
"Good luck on your match." I smile at him and tiptoe to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"I need all the luck I can get."
"I'm sure you'll do amazingly well, like you always do."
"I did horrible against Robby last time and Kreese is putting a lot of pressure onto me."
"However this round of the tournament goes, you win or lose, I will always be proud of you. I think you need to have more faith in yourself, so what if you lose? You made it this far, so even if you lose you should be extremely proud of yourself. After all, not every karate fighter makes it to the semi-finals of an international karate tournament. What you have already achieved is amazing enough, but I believe you'll win your match."
"You always know what to say." He smiles before kissing my forehead.
"I love you." He adds.
"I love you too."
"Remember to give me your answer at the end of the match, don't forget."
"I won't, trust me."
He reached for my cheek, gently cupping it and his touch seeped into me. His face was now inches from mine, then he broke the distance between us. His lips met with mine, usually our kisses tended to be passionate and lust-filled, but there was something different about this one, this one was soft and filled with all sorts of emotions. His fingers on my cheek tightened slightly, not wanting to let go of me.
He then pulled away, "I don't know what I'd do without you.". He then released his hand from my cheek, although he didn't break eye contact.
"I don't know what I'd do without you either, Kwon. Good luck on your match."
