I'm standing in the lobby, silently leaning on the wall, observing the crowd, I then see Tory on her own and go take my chance to talk to her before she leaves.
"You alright?"
"No, not really." She bluntly replies, looking zoned out as if she's pondering.
One thing I love about Tory is her honesty. She never fails to be brutally honest, even in awkward situations, although people tend to mistake it for rudeness, it's really just the truth.
"You guys still did amazing regardless, talk when you get back home?"
"Hey, can I talk to Tory alone?" Robby interrupts to ask, to which I nod and walk away.
Kwon then pulls me aside unexpectedly, "I'll miss you. I'd rather not be touchy with you in-front of all these people, but I love you."
"I love you too." I look up at him and smile, he reciprocates my beaming smile then suddenly his eyes dart elsewhere and his jaw clenches.
"I'll be back." He blurts, abruptly walking towards Robby and Tory for whatever bizarre reason.
Him walking towards Robby reminds me of what Robby told me happened with Zara and how she took advantage of him in an emotionally unstable situation.
I then use this as my opportunity to go up to Zara, where she's standing alone on her phone, scoffing at Tory, clearly mumbling something to herself as Axel seems to be zoned out and not listening to her at all.
"Hey, I heard what you did to Robby." I push her aggressively, which seemingly startles her at first but her lips then curve into a smirk.
"What are you gonna do about it?" She arrogantly smiles, not even seeming the slightest bit ashamed of her actions.
"This." I then pivot my right foot and right hook her nose, causing a stream of blood to come out of her nose rapidly and she immediately guards her hands with her face.
"You bitch!" She yelps.
"I'm gonna report you!" She adds.
"Yeah, you do that and I'll tell them about what you did to Robby, you piece of shit. You're lucky I'm not the one you're facing on the mat or else I would've fucking killed you." I strike her across the face, causing her to gently hold her cheek and scoff.
She cries and storms away, I'm presuming to wash up before the match, I chuckle at her distress.
She should've never done that to Robby in the first place.
Robby then walks over to me after his encounter with Kwon and Tory.
"How'd it go?" I ask him, referring to his one on one conversation with Tory before Kwon interrupted.
"Average, I guess. Anyway, did I see you punch Zara? Since when do you strike first?" He chuckles lightly.
"I know you said not to and I know it could've cost me my spot, I'm sorry, but come on, you're basically like the biological brother I never had, Robby. I had to do something."
"Thank you." He flashes a faint smile and we both walk towards Sam and Miguel.
"Hey bro, how'd it go?" Miguel inquires to Robby, he then beams a slight smile towards me.
"Pretty much how you'd expect it to go." He replies a bit unenthusiastically.
"Once all the craziness dies down, you guys are gonna figure it out." Sam adds.
