Throughout most of the summer, Raven would spend the majority of his time in the guest room either reading books on advanced magic, talk to his mother, or take his time resting, as Dolohov's curse still had taken its toll on his body.

There were times, though, when he would do some physical activities to also help get his body back it's strength, and Andromeda made sure he was getting plenty of nutrients in his meals to help as well.

Andromeda also made sure that Raven was getting enough love, as well. She remembered Wren's words, saying that he'd need a mother's love. So Andromeda would be sure to tell him she loved him, and give him plenty of hugs and kisses on the cheek.

She was doing her best to remain strong for the family. Seeing Wren in a coma was painful, and she was also still mourning the loss of her favorite cousin Sirius Black. She thanked herself that she went over to his place, before he passed, to make amends and apologize for suspecting he had sold both the Mordecurs and Potters.

Ever since Wren's been in a coma, Nymphadora's hair had still remained its natural color, and she's been depressed as well. Her and Moody apologized to Raven, saying they should've protected his mother better. Raven, again, told them that he didn't blame them one bit, but blamed himself, and to try and move on from the guilt, as he was.

Raven was escorted back to his house, by Nymphadora, to get some clothes for him and his mother. He also picked up some books from his mother's room to educate himself on advanced magic. He let Uri accompany them so she could say goodbye to Izanami.

"Thank you for protecting her, Izanami." Raven said to his mother's owl, on her grave. "I'll take care of her now, you can rest."

Goodbye, old friend. I'm going to miss you. Uri said to Izanami.

Raven would help Andromeda take care of his mother by washing her hair and assist her in administering the potions she needed. He would leave the room when Andromeda needed to wash the rest of Wren's body and change her, though.

Wren's condition hadn't changed much. Her complexion was still ghostly pale, and the bruises on her had only slightly begun to fade. Luckily, her breathing was still normal and not raspy. Raven returned his mother's will to Andromeda, who held onto it for Moody, since he would be busy doing Order business. After having read it, he realized how prepared his mother was for her death, that luckily didn't happen.

He had read the papers every chance he got, ensuring he kept up with what was going on out in the wizarding world. He read about Scrimgeour, who was formerly the Head Auror, now becoming the Minister for Magic. He also read about him and his friends activities at the Department of Mysteries, as well as the death of Amelia Bones.

Raven had never met Amelia in person, though he'd of course seen pictures of her. He was acquainted with her niece Susan Bones. He had helped her and her best friend Hannah Abbott train last year in Dumbledore's Army. He hopes she and her family are doing well, and he'd give her his condolences when he saw her again.

The papers also mentioned Umbridge's trial too, with a photo showing her imprisonment. Many parents were unhappy with the Ministry's decision to hire her. They complained about their kids coming home with scars on their hands, as well as the fact that they learned next to nothing in her class. Raven looked to his own scar on his left hand, knowing that his mother would find out about it when she woke up. He still hated that he had to lie to her about it that one night, but he did so with good reason.

He had asked Moody why the Ministry didn't need him at Umbridge's trial, as he was the one who provided evidence. Moody replied, saying that he told them Raven was still recovering, so he wasn't available, and the Verituserum proved his memories true.
