"Yeah, I get that obviously. No one said don't hold back. You were giving me some sort of evil stare, jaw clenched, brows furrowed, squinting eyes, frowning and not breaking eye contact but in a scary way."
"I'm sorry, can we just forget this?"
"Sure."
Clearly, there's something he doesn't wanna talk about, so I'll wait for him to tell me or just temporarily forget and ask him another time.
KWON'S POV:
set during end of chapter 18 - start of chapter 19
"Jae-sung, locker room. Now." Kreese states.
I walk into the empty locker room, noticing the glowing light reflecting onto Sensei Kreese, although the light contradicts the usual darkness inflicting on his face.
"What happened Sensei?"
"That Chopra girl. You and her close?"
My smile fades quickly from my face, knowing he's gonna say something about us and try to use what we have against her in the next tag-team round.
I clear my throat before speaking, thinking of what to say. "Well, uh, it's just flirting. That's all." I reply, attempting to try and defuse his thoughts.
"That's not what I'm hearing. Or seeing."
"You need to forget about her, she's a distraction to your true potential." Kreese adds, causing me to look at him in confusion.
"Distraction? What do you mean?"
Kreese takes a step forward towards me, holding his cigar, "Kwon, I truly think you have the most potential out of all the students I've taught over the course of several years. It'd be a shame if you let a girl ruin that."
But she wasn't just a girl. She's the girl who captured my heart when I thought it was unreachable. When she is around, I feel as though my life revolves around merely her.
"I do not understand what you are trying to say." I state.
"For this tag team, remember what I taught you. No mercy. If you somehow go against that girl when Cobra Kai fights Miyagi Do, channel all your feelings towards her into anger and use that anger to fight with no mercy, is that understood Kwon? Every single feeling and thought."
"Yes Sensei." I reply hesitatingly.
"Good, I always knew you wouldn't let anything get in the way of your potential." He pats me on the shoulder to which I flash an awkward smile and leave the locker room.
BACK TO KIARA'S POV:
"I'm gonna miss you when I go back to Korea." Kwon states.
"I don't wanna stay in the Sekai Takai without you."
"You'll do great, I know you will."
"Oh, really? How's that? I'm not even fighting." I place my hand on my chin and look up at him, causing him to stutter a bit which I find quite amusing.
"Because you're my girl. Let's just hope there's a scenario where you need to fight instead, if there is, I know you'd do outstanding."
Something about that sentence caused jolts throughout my body, making my body tingly. His girl?
"Your girl, huh?"
"You know you are." He grins at my silence acceptance and kisses my cheek lightly.
We then spend the remainder of the time left we have talking and being affectionate before the other Cobra Kai's turn up, preparing to leave and Miyagi Do's, preparing for the next match.
