Back in the Real World...
"Well, I think that there is a way to stop Craig and his children from turning anyone else into objects." Valerie sighed, "If only Oswald allowed us to know our fates, then we can prepare ourselves for whatever Craig and them throw at us."
"Actually." Oswald walked into the room, carrying his novel as usual as he gathered everyone around, even the two bitches as well, to see what will happen to them, "I have a confession to make. I am next and before I go, I just want to make sure that you have a higher chance of survival."
"Well, whatever it is, I might as well know what you're onto, and are you're finally going to tell us what'll happen to us?!" Valerie asked.
"Yes. Although it may hurt, although it may take a while to process, knowing is better than not knowing, right?" Oswald replied.
It took a while for Oswald to tell everyone their fates, but the reactions were different on a person-to-person basis. Valerie was bummed out, Indigo was scared, Regina and Clarissa were pissed at the way how their lives will be ruined, Gwen was slightly angry, Grant was mad as well, Takashima was angry, but returned to reading her book, Deanna and Estrella hugged each other in comfort to process whatever the hell will happen to them, Paisley accepted that they'll probably die in some noble way, Odessa wasn't shocked by her own fate but of Paisley's sacrifice, and Lydia's stomach sank when she had learned of her fate.
"N-no, this can't be..." Lydia mumbled to herself as she backed away, knowing that she was condemned to a really, really terrible fate. Lydia was sweating bullets, her heart racing, her breathing faster than a freight train, and tears rolling down her cheeks.
Valerie, Indigo, and Bessie walked over towards Lydia, knowing that their friend was panicking over what she just learned.
"Lydia, it's okay, he just wants you to know your fate so you can take steps to prevent whatever will happen to you." Valerie reassured Lydia, patting her shoulder to make her feel better.
"I don't know how bad things will be, I don't know what would lead to whatever will happen to me!" Lydia cried out.
"Grow up, Timmons! I have it way worse than you!" Regina scoffed, acting like the selfish bitch she is, "And I'm telling Craig about your distressing those around you!" She looked at Oswald.
Clarissa also looked at Oswald, glaring at him.
"No, please, don't!" Oswald whimpered.
"Oh, we will tell Craig once he returns from whatever wedding will happen." Regina snickered.
"Well, I don't think you should trust Craig, he'll get to you to!" Oswald scoffed.
"Well, you're not going to have anything to say about it anyways, Colleen and I are already in good terms with Craig himself and he'll make sure that he turns you all into objects!" Regina snickered.
"I won't let what happened to those before us happen to anyone else!" Oswald scoffed as he glared at the two bitches.
Suddenly, lights were shining through the glass of the dome as Oswald was sweating bullets.
"Look, your end is finally here!" Regina grinned as Oswald felt that his end was near, as he could hear Craig entering the dome and opening the doors of the dining hall, "Oh, Mr. Boxer! Looks like there is someone who needs to be punished, take him in now!"
Craig then grabbed Oswald, who screamed in agony, not wanting this to happen.
Craig then pulled him to the corner and injected the transformative serum right into his bloodstream, making Oswald scream in pure agony. Regina and Clarissa were smirking, as they both knew that they're getting rid of their biggest enemies left. Craig then pulled him out of the door as Regina and Clarissa followed them. Everyone else followed out of pure concern as Oswald could feel pain within his hands, as bones cracked and popped, fingers began to merge together, as blackness was spreading up his fingertips, palms bloating into spheres.
"No, I don't want to become an object! Everyone else will fall if I'm not here to warn them about their fates?!" Oswald cried out as his hands were now nothing more than spheres tacked onto his now thinning arms, the blackness spreading up them, slowly but sure.
"Warn them of what? Their inevitable fates?!" Craig asked as Oswald could feel his arms getting thinner and thinner, until they were wiry-looking, instead of the normal arms that he had, devoid of any fat or muscle.
"They're not inevitable, people can avoid being transformed if they do the right things to do so!" Oswald cried out as black blotches appeared on his legs, rapidly spreading as they were making his legs become thinner and thinner.
"You're wrong! We need the contestants to make this show complete, and then the host will come next!" Craig snickered as Oswald could feel his feet began to crack and pop, bloating into semispherical blobs as toes were merging together. It wasn't before long before his feet shredded through his sneakers.
Oswald then could feel a sharp jolt within his nether regions, as he could feel his manhood shriveling up into nothingness. He screamed in agony as he wasn't about to lose his humanity, he was about to lose his masculinity as well. One last jolt meant that he was now technically genderless, although he is now a SHE.
She glared right at Craig, who stole her novel and is about to burn it right in front of poor Oswald.
"No! Please don't-" Blood was beginning to come up Oswald's throat, before she coughed it up. Oswald then vomited, with more blood spraying into it as she could feel her body beginning to crack and pop, becoming more and more rectangular as bones began to become calcite powder and organs slowly becoming mush, as she could feel her insides slowly turning into pages of paper, as she could feel chunks of her organs coming out with more and more of her vomit. Her skin was also turning a light blue color as she could feel her skin hardening into cardboard.
Suddenly, her Adam's apple came out with another bit of vomit, leaving her voice being feminine, yet androgynous, as she could feel strands of black hair falling out in clumps, as tears were rolling down her cheeks, as she could feel her neck cracking and popping, as she could feel her neck shrinking down as well, and before she knew it, with a violent SNAP, her neck disappeared, which meant it was now time for the beginning of the CEPHALOTHORAX!
Her head was shoved right into her torso as her nose and ears melted back into her face, her skin finally being a pale blue color as she could feel a ticklish feeling on the front of her body, a darker blue text saying OSO with four different colored crayons and some more prints coming onto her body, as she screamed in agony as well, her body opening up on one side from the top of her body to the bottom, as her spine relocated itself to the other side of her body, making it into the spine of a book.
The last strands of her hair had fallen out as she stared at Craig with slowly darkening eyes, turning from a periwinkle color to a pitch black color, being reduced into little beads, as she could feel blood coming from her gums as well. Her teeth was flattening, becoming two pearly white rectangular rows of teeth, as her tongue brightened to a brighter pink color, blackness taking over the rest of her mouth as her lips were reduced into a simple black line. With a few more coughs and adjustments, her transformation into a sentient book was now complete.
"W-what happened?! What are you doing to my book?!" Oswald asked as she noticed that Craig was hovering her novel right in front of her, over the fire as if he was about to drop it.
"Whoops!" Craig snickered as he dropped the book right into the fire pit, as Oswald was beginning to feel a headache from Hell itself emerging from nowhere, as she screamed in pure agony.
Oswalo Norcrosl could feel her old, human memories slipping away as memories of hanging out with her friends - Valerie, Indigo, Lydia, and Bessie were slipping away from her grasp. Memories of writing her own novel that can predict the future was leaving her as well.
"N-no! Don't take it away from me! Don't make me forget my stories..." Oswao Norcroel could also feel basic information about her career being destroyed like the pages that burned in the fire pit right in front of her. And why was she watching her own kind burning into ashes anyways? She could feel memories of writing stories, and coming up with wild ideas, even if they come true as well, leaving her.
It was all coming back to Oswo Norcvel, as she could feel memories of competing on Open Source Objects flooding in her mind, as she could feel memories of people trying to peep right into herself, trying to see who will win the competition.
In fact, OSwO Norvel could feel a need to keep her guard up, to make sure that nobody gets spoiled or bad things will happen. She still is paranoid that relationships could be destroyed if one found out who would win. She was a novel of all events that'll take place throughout Open Source Objects after all - past, present and future.
And just like that, Oswald Norcross was now dead to the world, replaced by OSO Novel.
"W-what happened? Who are you?! There isn't any mention of you in my pages at all!" OSO Novel cried out.
"Well, here's a lesson to you all, the less you know, the better, we don't want anyone to be panicking or be spoiled of future events, don't we?!" Craig snickered.
Craig then walked back to his house, knowing that there is just some more people to transform into characters, then maybe, just maybe, Open Source Objects will be complete.
And he will transform everyone, no matter the cost... no matter what!
