Perrie grinned. "Good. Someone has to keep you in line."
When Jesy stood to stretch after sitting for too long, Perrie was by her side in an instant, steadying her when she wobbled slightly.
"Careful," Perrie murmured, her hand lingering at Jesy's elbow.
Jesy smiled softly. "Thanks, Pez. I've got it, though."
Their eyes met briefly, the moment stretching just a fraction longer than usual before Leigh-Anne's voice broke the spell.
"Oi, Pezza! Stop mother-henning and get back here. We're on a break, not a holiday!"
Jesy's laughter bubbled up, easing the slight tension. "See, Perrie? Even Leigh's onto you now."
"She's lucky I like her," Perrie muttered, walking back to her spot with a dramatic hair flip that made Jesy laugh harder.
The girls continued working on the choreography for 'Touch', making little tweaks here and there to accommodate one missing dancer, which was Jesy of course.
When they got to the point where Jesy and Perrie usually grind against each other, they halted, contemplating what move they could do instead.
Perrie pouted, clearly disappointed about the change.
Jesy, having caught the blonde's petulant look, huffed out a chuckle.
"Maybe you can take my part, Leigh Leigh. Our Pezza here seemed to be looking forward to it."
The Jamaican girl quickly agreed, jokingly petting her Geordie friend's cheek.
The dancing picked up again with the new changes in place, everything worked out perfectly.
Jesy, though, could see Perrie still looked a little dismayed. She secretly enjoyed knowing that the Geordie was really looking forward to dancing intimately with her, and only her.

The morning of the Summertime Ball was as chaotic and thrilling as anyone could expect. By 6:30 a.m., Sam had arrived at the house, bustling about to ensure everything was ready for their big day.
Hair, makeup, wardrobe, and logistics—it was a symphony of controlled chaos, all designed to get Little Mix to Wembley Stadium on time and camera-ready.
Jesy, already awake and lounging in her room upstairs, heard the unmistakable sounds of activity echoing through the house. Despite her late pregnancy aches and swelling, excitement coursed through her.
Perrie's voice carried up the stairs, followed by Leigh-Anne's laughter and Jade's mock scolding of one of the stylists. Jesy smiled to herself, the familiar sound of her girls grounding her in the moment. She eased out of bed, taking her time as she padded to the bathroom to freshen up.
By 7:30 a.m., the girls and their entourage were being driven to Wembley Stadium in a caravan of SUVs.
Jesy had her own vehicle, accompanied by Sam, allowing her a quieter ride to prepare for the day ahead. She gazed out the window as the city rolled by, her hand absently resting on her abdomen.
"Big day," Sam remarked from beside her, flipping through her ever-present tablet.
Jesy chuckled softly. "Tell me about it."
When they arrived at Wembley, the stadium was already a hive of activity. Staff members buzzed about, ensuring every detail of the massive event was on track.
The dancers arrived as well, quickly hugging Jesy before disappearing into their dressing room.
Jesy was led to one of the private dressing rooms set aside for the girls, where the familiar faces of Adam and Azza were already hard at work.
