"For the love of Rose, please, stop fighting, I am pretty sure we can work things out!" Chase interjected.
"And what makes you say that?! And why aren't you in that slap fight with Isaac right now?!" Regina scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"Don't you dare talk back to me, young miss!" Chase scowled, disappointed in the bitch's behavior.
"Again! I can do whatever I want! You nerd!" Regina scoffed, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes, "You can't see that I am more important than you guys!"

Nadia and Mikaela walked out of the dining hall, not needing any of the drama.
"Well, there is no way in hell I'm staying in here before things get outta control. Who knows how long Chase can keep the conflict from starting?!" Nadia scoffed, as she noted Mikaela nodding in agreement. They were planning to return to the apartment building anyways and read books, knowing that it is the only way to calm down after what happened to Peony.

"I don't know what I'm going to with our friends transforming left and right, I mean, we have already lost Blythe and Peony, I cannot afford to lose you too." Nadia sighed. Of course, Nadia has been using sign language to communicate with her only friend.

The sign language that Mikaela returned was: I don't know either, it's been weird to see our friends go.

Of course, as soon as they have entered, there was a strange box on the coffee table. Mikaela was however curious on the box, and she thought it's just something normal. She opened the box and alas, there was another box, labeled: Restore your hearing in seconds!

Mikaela has been desperate for a cure for her deafness, knowing that it has costed her a great, successful life that many people expected of her. Not many people like her could achieve greatness.

She knew that if she wanted to live a normal life like everyone wanted her to, then she had to see if these ear drops work, as she entered the bathroom and opened the box. It seemed like a normal jar of ear drops, designed to clean and heal ears. Unbeknownst to Mikaela, she didn't know that there is actually TF serum mixed in with the contents of the container. Mikaela was totally oblivious to that fact as she did a couple drops in each ear and waited, waited, and waited.

She then could hear ringing within her ears as sound was beginning to fade in, it was a miracle... for the first time in her entire life, Mikaela could hear as she heard Nadia knocking on the door.
"Mikaela, are you alright, did you try those drops?" Nadia asked.
However, Mikaela still cannot verbally respond, as she opened the door and noticed that Nadia was concerned for her.

Suddenly, Mikaela's rejoicing-for-having-hearing session was abrupted by the sound of cracks and pops on her hands, as Mikaela looked at her hands, fingers having this strange, black color spreading up the tips and the fingers beginning to merge together as well.

"Mikaela... have you read the label of the box?" Nadia asked.
Mikaela was sweating bullets as she could feel her fingers continuing to merge together, palms bloating into spheres as the fingers seemed to retract back into her palms. This left her hands as spheres tacked onto her arms, as the blackness spread up them as well, cracking and popping becoming more and more intense as well. She could feel her arms becoming thinner and thinner, muscle and fat being sapped away as well, as she could feel her arms becoming more and more like wires, loose and thin.

"Mikaela! What's happening to you?! Please... give me a thumbs up if you're alright, nod, anything!" Nadia cried out as Mikaela lost her balance, due to her legs beginning to become thinner and thinner as well, as Nadia caught Mikaela in her arms as well, "I got you!"

Black blotches appeared and began to rapidly spreading down her thinning legs, falling a similar fate as her arms, as Mikaela's heart was racing and tears were streaming down her cheeks. Mikaela also couldn't believe that something that had finally granted her hearing was very detrimental to her well being, and is now killing her. If she could scream on top of her lungs, she would.
