The remainder of my day unfolds lazily as I nestle into the softness of my bed, the glow of my laptop illuminating my face as I binge-watch Netflix. Dressed in nothing but a loose tank top and comfortable shorts, my hair pulled back into a messy ponytail, I embrace the freedom of not caring about my appearance.

Yet, amidst the comfort, thoughts of Jason linger like stubborn ghosts. I should be furious with him. After all, he hurt me deeply. But despite my best efforts to push him from my mind, his presence persists, frustratingly prominent. I find myself wondering where he disappeared to, a pang of curiosity mixed with a hint of longing. If only I knew his whereabouts.

The idea of being alone with him now feels daunting. Would he come back tomorrow with the same dismissive attitude? I dreaded the idea of enduring more of his rude behavior.

As exhaustion finally sweeps over me, I drift into slumber, the familiar drama of "Pretty Little Liars" providing a fitting backdrop to my restless thoughts. Tomorrow held the promise of Jason's return, and despite my annoyance at his sudden absence, I anticipated his presence. Who does he think he is, taking a break whenever he pleases?

But dwelling on tomorrow could wait. For now, I needed to prioritize my beauty sleep.

I shifted to my side, seeking refuge from the intrusive sunlight that filtered into the room. It felt far too early to greet the day, and I had no intention of opening my eyes just y

But I heard someone chuckle which made me open one of my eyes, and I nearly fall off the bed when I saw who it was.

"Morning, sleepy head," he greeted, as he stood right in front of me.

I groaned in response. His early return caught me off guard, and I wasn't sure if I could handle him so early in the morning. Despite my grogginess, I couldn't help but notice how strikingly handsome he looked. Had he gotten a haircut? I blinked a few times.

Rolling over, I was met once again with the unwelcome intrusion of sunlight on my face.

Great.

I sigh, accepting that I am now that I'm fully awake. Rising from the bed, I made my way to the bathroom.

I couldn't deny that I was relieved to see him back, for the most part. Yesterday had dragged on endlessly, and I hardly saw Ted. Given the choice, I'd much rather feast my eyes on Jason's handsome face than Ted's any day. After closing the door behind me, I turned on the cold water and splashed my face, then proceeded to brush my teeth. Maybe today could be the same as yesterday. Where I spent the day lounging in bed, indulging in snacks, and binge-watching movies.

Emerging from the bathroom, I found myself locking eyes with Jason. His gaze roamed over me from head to toe, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he licked his lips, making me blush. What was that about?

I felt a warm, wet sensation beginning to form in my panties. Oh no.

"I see you're back early," I remarked, unsure of what else to say to him.

"Yep. Miss me?" he teased with a smirk.

Of course I did.

"No. I still don't understand why you left in the first place anyway, and who gave you permission to leave?" I asked, mustering up some courage. I'd be surprised if he actually gave me the real reason for his departure.

"I needed to get away. Plus, I was only gone for a day. It's not a big deal; your parents said it was cool, and I made sure to confirm it with them," he explained. I couldn't help but scoff at his response. It wasn't cool with me, and they certainly didn't run this by me.
