Just then, a pillow struck her squarely in the face. "Bullseye!" she heard her roommate yell, and Dae jumped up, startled.

"Sorry!" she screamed, dashing around the apartment as pillows flew at her from every direction. How did her roommate have so many?

"Don't you think it's too late to tell your best friend you can pull pillows out of your ass?" she taunted, narrowly dodging another throw, only to have a pillow hit her right across the face again.

Dae stumbled back onto the couch, laughter bubbling up despite her frustration. Her best friend, Jungkook, plopped down next to her, and she sat up, crossing her legs.

"I know I'm late again, but tell me, how can I make it up to you?" she asked.

"I won't forgive you, even if you worship me, you filthy peasant," Jungkook replied, crossing his arms.

"Hey, that's my line," Dae shot back, tossing a pillow at him. He retaliated by throwing one right back.

"Come on, Kook, I already apologized. Let's just watch some movies instead of wasting time," she said, stepping toward him.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, muttering a barely audible "fine." Dae laughed and hugged him tightly. He scoffed but hugged her back anyway.

"Be glad you're my best friend, or I would've never forgiven you," he threatened, and Dae nodded, teasing him with another laugh.

She broke the hug and leaned back on the couch, making herself comfortable. Jungkook started the movie, and Dae grinned, grabbing a slice of the pizza he'd already ordered for them.

"Love ya, Bony," she teased, and Jungkook quickly caught her in a headlock.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry I called you Bony!" she cackled, and Jungkook flicked her forehead hard.

"When will you let that go? It was five years ago when that girl—I don't even remember her face—called me 'Bony' instead of 'Bunny,'" he said, laughing at the memory.

"I mean, she was confessing, and the poor girl was so nervous. And then we laughed at her face for calling you that—her expression was priceless. I still feel bad," Dae said, wiping a tear as she continued laughing.

Jungkook tried to keep a straight face but gave in, laughing along with her. The two kept laughing back and forth for a solid five minutes, one setting off the other.

"Okay, okay, enough," Dae said, clutching her stomach, still giggling.

Jungkook nodded, trying to catch his breath, which only made Dae laugh harder.

"Can you seriously stop laughing? You sound like a dying penguin," Jungkook teased, breaking into another fit of laughter himself.

Just then, they heard a knock at the door. Dae glanced at Jungkook, shrugged, and went to answer it. She peeked through the door camera before turning back to him with a wide grin.

Jungkook, confused, walked over just as Dae swung the door open, and she was immediately enveloped in a tight hug. She laughed as she was spun around before hugging her other best friend back.

"When did you get back?" she asked as he finally set her down.

"I landed two hours ago," Jin replied, pulling Jungkook into a tight hug, which he returned with equal enthusiasm.

"OMG, I missed you so much! Who goes away for four whole years?" Dae exclaimed, tearing up.

Jin panicked. "Hey, kid, don't cry! I swear, I'll cry harder if you do," he said, his voice cracking as he teared up too. He pulled her into another hug.

"Don't leave me out!" Jungkook whined, joining the hug, his own eyes watery.

"We're such crybabies," Dae commented, wiping her eyes with the back of her sleeve. Then she wiped Jin's eyes for him, making him laugh.

"You didn't wipe my eyes for me," Jungkook complained, and Dae blinked at him, clearly unimpressed, while Jin burst out laughing again.

"God, I missed your windshield-wiper laugh," Jungkook said with a grin, earning a disapproving look from Jin while Dae nodded, still laughing.

"We need to go out, like, right now," Jungkook said.

Dae nodded excitedly. "But I'm tired—" Jin began.

"Shut up, oldie, you're coming anyway," Dae cut him off, grinning as Jin gasped in mock offense.

"I'm gone for four years, and you've already forgotten how to respect your elders?" Jin asked, smacking Dae lightly on the back of her head.

Dae stuck her tongue out at him and ran off to her room to get ready. They were hitting the club tonight, and nothing could stop her from partying until she dropped.

After all, she had both of her best friends back together to save her clumsy ass from getting into awkward situations.
