Before we dive into this chapter, there's something important I want to share.
In this version of RWBY, I'm expanding on the structure of Beacon Academy. It always felt a bit odd that such a massive institution only focused on a handful of students—so I'm adding class sections to the First Years. Think of it like this:
Class A, Class B, Class C, and so on.
Other years are applied to this concept as well (e.g Class A - Second Year)
And classes have 20 students each maximum, composed of five teams. (I'll be adding Ocs to flesh out the story even more.)
Team RWBY, Team JNPR, and Team CRDL will all be part of Class A – First Year. But just to be clear: letter doesn't equal ranking. Class B could be just as strong—or even stronger—than Class A. It's all about variety and giving more room for original characters and expanded dynamics.
Also, if you're wondering: yes, things will be different from canon. That's kind of the point! While the core of RWBY's world and themes remain intact, I'm using this story as a creative sandbox to explore new ideas, alternate interactions, and untold possibilities. This is my version of Remnant—familiar, but with original elements and fresh twists.
And finally, a little personal note: I'm gonna stay away from my Naruto fanfics for a while, and honestly, it's been a bit overwhelming. This RWBY story is a breath of fresh air—no chakras, no Sharingan, & ESPECIALLY no Schnee Politics, thank god!
So if you're here for something new, something passionate, and something that still respects the heart of RWBY while branching out? You're in the right place.
Now then...
Let's begin the chapter.
___
Forever Fall
The air was crisp and cool as the students of Class A - First Year stepped off the transport bus, their boots crunching softly against the fallen leaves. Shades of crimson, amber, and gold painted the forest around them, the trees of Forever Fall standing tall like ancient guardians. Sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting dancing shadows across the trail.
Professor Peach stood at the front, her vibrant pink cloak fluttering slightly with the breeze. A veteran Huntress with a surprisingly youthful smile and energetic voice, she clapped her hands together to gather the students' attention.
"Welcome to Forever Fall!" she said brightly, projecting her voice with practiced ease. "This forest is one of the oldest and most beautiful locations in all of Vale. But it isn't just for show—it also serves as an excellent classroom."
She looked over the crowd of twenty students, each wearing their school-issued gear. Familiar faces stood out among the group: Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Team CRDL—and two other teams still earning their stripes.
Professor Peach pointed to a data scroll in her hand, flipping through pages. "Before we begin, let's make sure everyone's accounted for."
She called out names and teams in order:
"Team RWBY: Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang."
"Team JNPR: Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Ren."
"Team CRDL: Cardin, Russel, Dove, Sky Lark."
"Team PRMS: Prism, Rina, Milo, Sage."
"Team TERA: Taro, Elen, Rhea, Anchor."
Each team responded with brief nods or muttered confirmations. Some, like Nora, added a quick wave or grin. Others, like Weiss, simply stood with poise and silence.
