Unexpected Love

Shopping!

"Ayo ladies & gentleman
Junbiga dwaettdamyeon bureulge yeah!"

I'm startled awake by my phone blaring Dope by BTS. Areum is calling me. I answer the phone and sleepily say,

"Mm hello?"

"Hey! It's shopping day! I'm outside your room. Open the door! I've been knocking for 30 minutes." She says impatiently.

"Mm sorry. I'm coming." I hang up and sit up and stretch then weakly walk to the door and unlock it and open it to a fully dressed with makeup and everything Areum.

"Oh girl come on get dressed. Have you even washed up yet?" She walks in and pushes me to the bathroom and turns the shower on for me. "It's 9:00am. Take a shower and get ready so we can go shopping for tomorrow."

"Mm tomorrow?" I say half asleep and scratch my head.

"The BTS concert Saku!" She said as she turned back to me from the shower.

"That was real? I thought it was a dream." I say actually waking up now.

"No it was real now get in the shower. We gotta go shopping and it take 30 minutes to get to the mall." She walks out and shuts the door.

"So it was real. Hmm" I say under my breath. I get undressed and jump in the shower. I wash my hair and everything else then jump out. I walk out wrapped in a towel and hear, "what are you doing?" I jump and yelp.

"Jeez I forgot you were in here. I'm getting clothes." I walk to my dresser and get my clothes then go back to the bathroom. I dry off and put my clothes on. A cute white sort of short skirt and a black sweater that says "DOPE" on it and black converse. I blow dry my long brown hair and brush it. Good thing my hair is naturally straight. I put my makeup and lipstick on and take one last look over and leave the bathroom.

"That's was fast. Like usual. Are you ready to go?" She stands up and puts the cat on the bed.

"Yup! Let's go to the mall." We leave and before I shut the door I yell, "bye Joono! I'll be back soon!" I shut the door after I hear a meow and lock it. We walk to the car and drive to the mall. Shopping here we go!

"Ahh Areum! Stop it doesn't fit!" I yell as she's trying to forcefully make a small pair of skinny jeans fit me.

"I'll make it fit! Stop squirming!" She pulls to try to get the pants to go past my knees and her hands slip and she falls backwards out of the dressing room and she just lays on the floor. I open the curtain more with the skinny jeans at my knees and my sweater covering my but up. Good thing too. I looked up and saw guys looking and winking and laughing at me.

"Okay you were right. They aren't gonna fit. Let's try something else." She looks at me standing there frozen holding the front of my sweater down to cover myself and my cheeks looks like someone slapped the hell out of me. She looked in the direction I was looking and saw the guys and cursed at them as she was pushing me back in the dressing room.

"Those guys saw me naked.." I sit terrified as hell.

"You weren't naked. Take those off and try these. They're a medium so these should fit sense your so tiny." She hands me the jeans and I slip out of the small jeans. I put the new skinny jeans Areum gave to me and they fit with no problem.

"I like these. They're cute and they fit perfectly!" I say as I check them out. "I already have a thousand shirts so all we need are these."

"Okay perfect. Let's go buy them. Take them off and bring them to me. I'll be sitting outside waiting." I nod and begin to change. After I change back into my skirt, I bring the pants to the register and pay for them. We walk out of the store and roam around the mall. We pass many stores then we past a food cart and get a drink and ramen and rice. We sit down at a table near by and eat.

"Mm this looks good." Says Areum.

"Mm (yeah)" I say as I get my chopsticks and right as I was about to take a bite, I heard laughing and I looked over to see the guys who saw me half naked. Areum looks in the same direction and flips them off. They immediately look away. We continue to eat. After we finish eating, we get up and leave the mall. We ride home and rock out to k-Pop the whole way. Once we get home it was 7:00pm.

"This was fun! Can't wait till tomorrow!" I say anxiously.

"Neither can I!" She screams as we arrive to my house. "We're gonna have to leave early. It starts at 3:30pm and it'll take two hours to get there plus traffic. We'll leave around 1:00pm."

"Alright. Thanks for taking me home." I say.

"Mm (no problem)." She nods. I get out and wave goodbye to her. I turn around and walk to my apartment room and unlock the door and walk in. I'm greeted by Joono rubbing against my legs and meowing.

"Hi Joono. Did you miss me?" I walk to my bed and put my bags on my bed then pick Joono up and pet him. "I'm gonna be gone a long time tomorrow Joono." He meows. "I know Joono. I'll be back I promise.. I'll get Areum's mom to check on you and give you love okay?" He meows again and lays his head on my chest. I pet him the sit him on the bed so I could change into my pajamas.

"Meow." I look at Joono by his empty food bowl.

"Hmm? You hungry Joono?" He meows again and I put food into his bowl and change into my pajamas and lay down. "Can't wait for tomorrow." I think to myself. Joono jumps on my bed and lays next to me.

"Goodnight Joono." He meows and I fall asleep.
