Unexpected Love

What?! Are you serious?!

I'm walking down the street to my friend Areum's house. She's a sweet girl. My age. Childhood bestfriend. Ever since preschool. I'm walking and texting her.

To: Areum<3
"Hey I'm almost there! 5 minutes."

From: Areum<3
"Hey awesome. I'm just getting dressed. Just walk in when you get here."

To Areum<3
"Alright cool"

I lock my phone and put it in my pocket. The street were kinda crowded but just the usual. After a couple minutes I arrive at Areum's house and I  walk up the steps and knock on the door. No one answers so I hesitantly turn the knob and walk in slowly.

"Hello?" I say as I step into the empty living room. "Where is she?" I say under my breath.

I walk up the stair to the right which lead to her room. I got to the top and walked down the hall to her door. I hear BTS - danger. I knock but no one answers. I turn the knob and open the door and I'm looking down. Just then I'm startled by a scream. I look up quickly and Areum is in her bra and underwear!

"Ah! Sorry sorry!" I cover my eyes and slam the door shut. I just lean against the wall and slide down to sit and wait for her to come get me. I sit with my eyes closed and my head leaned back on the wall. A few minutes later her door opens and I don't move.

"Ever heard of knocking?" I hear her say.

"Ever heard of turning you music down a little so you can hear?" I say rolling my eyes behind my eye lids.

"Fair enough. Come on I have something to show you." I open my eyes and she has her hand held out. "By the way your makeup looks amazing!" She says as she helps me up.

I nod in thanks and walk into her room. She runs over to her desk and and picks something up and puts it behind her back.

"Remember how you LOVEEE BTS and Taehyung? Hehe" she says smiling.

"Uh yeah why? Got an autographed picture or something?" I ask.

"Nope. Better!" She held up two tickets to the next BTS concert and I literally scream. She laughs and says, "That's not the best part." I look at her and she holds up two backstage passes.

"Where did you get these oh my god!"  I ask reading the ticket.

"They were the last tickets. My parents gave me the money since it's almost your birthday." I look at her and laugh.

"My birthday is in three weeks though. This concert is in two days! Wait what?! Two days?! I'm going to a BTS concert in two days?!" I freak out and scream then hug her. "Oh my god I love you!"

"Haha love you too. It was no problem. It's almost your birthday plus I wanted to go just as bad as you." She lets go of the hug and turns BTS back on. Dope started playing and we danced around for hours.

~~~~~~later that night~~~~~~~~~in the living room~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"We need to go shopping tomorrow." I say as I bite into a cookie.

"Mm! Totally!" Says Areum with a mouth full of rice.

"I still can't believe I'm going to see BTS! This is amazing." I say and start daydreaming.

Areum snaps me out of my fade and hands me some ramen. I take it and take my chopsticks and eat. Areum made the best ramen I've ever tasted!

"Wow it's getting late. I better head home." I say looking at the clock on Areum's wall. 8:00pm.

"I'll get a bowl for you to take that with you." She smiles and walks to the kitchen and gets a bowl with a lid for me. I pour the ramen into it and shut the lid tight.

"Thanks Areum. I'll bring the bowl back tomorrow." I hug her and smile. She does the same. I walk out the door and put my shoes on then walk out on the street.

Once I reach home my cat meows and I pet her and take my shoes off and shut the door and lock it. Back to my crumby apartment again. I lay on my bed and my cat jumps on the bed and lays on my chest. I don't move.

"Wow... BTS.. It's actually happening. Two days. Thank you" is the last thing I think before I fall I into a deep sleep.
