A Date with a Super Transformation (Date A Live x Kamen Rider Kuuga)

Episode 9: Spirits

Shido: Looks in surprise. "Yeah, that...looks exactly like him."

Nia: Smiles and fixes her glasses. "That's the powers of a manga artist."

As the girls look at the picture, Shido thinks back to when he heard Kuuga speak.

Shido: "Is he really a boy?"

Just then, the spacial quake alarm starts to blare.

Kotori: "Oh no."

As the alarm sounds, everyone rushes to Fraxinus. Once they arrive, Kotori sits in the commander chair.

Kotori: "What's going on?"

Kyouji: "This." He says while pulling up the image of the scene on screen.

As the image shows, they see a destroyed cafe as they see two people lying on the ground and what looks like an octopus monster walking out of it. Everyone, including the spirits, looked at the image in shock and horror, but Shido notices something.

Shido: "Wait a minute! That's the officer from the mall, and that woman. Isn't she-" He gets cutoff.

Origami: "Sergeant Ryouko!" She shouted in fear.

Everyone looked back as they see Origami who has just arrived. She looks at the video and see Kyouko being attacked.

Origami: "We have to do something! She's gonna die!" She's about to rush to save her until Kaguya yelled.

Kaguya: "WAIT! LOOK!"

As everyone looks back at the screen, everyone looks in surprise as they see Kuuga attack the monster and save Ryouko. All the spirits look on in surprise. They all watch Kuuga fight against the monster and for some reason, the AST don't show up. Soon, the fight ends as Kuuga finishes the fight with his rider kick and defeats Xu-Daago-Gi as the monster explodes. After that, Kuuga runs away and Kyouji turns the video off.

Nia: "THAT WAS KUUGA!?" She shouted smiling widely.

Kaguya: "He's amazing!" She shouted bumping her fists.

Natsumi: "He was like a superhero!" She said still wide eyed.

As the girls talk about Kuuga, Reine gets Shido and Kotori's attention and asks them to follow her. Once they are at a good distance, Reine pulls up something on her tablet.

Reine: "I got some news." Proceeds to show data charts that appear to belong to Kuuga.

Shido: "Wait a minute. Aren't those?"

Kotori: "Spirit readings."

Reine: "Correct. They're a little faint, but there's some readings of spirit energy." She shows more data on Kuuga. "So far, the readings are mostly visible when they perform that kick."

Shido: "Interesting. Well, at least the others know about him."

Kotori: "Perfect. The next time he shows up, you gotta get your flirt on."

Shido: Does a double take. "Sorry what?"

Kotori: "You heard me lover boy. Next time that spirit shows up, it's date time." She says before walking away.

(One day later)

We meet back with Hunter and Ethan in Ravi's basement where Ethan is petting Mrs. Kipling and Hunter is drinking a slushy on the couch.

Hunter: "So, what do you think the news is?" Takes a sip of his slushy.

Ethan: Rubs Mrs. Kiplings head. "No clue. Hopefully it's good."

Just then, Ravi rushes down the stairs looking excited.

Ravi: "Ok! Who's ready for some good news?" He said sitting in his chair.
