VIII - With Her

Keith's POV

I've been ignoring Tanya for two weeks now. Hanggang ngayon kasi, I still can't believe that she can do such thing. Hindi naman kasi ganon ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya. Pero wala, I witnessed what she did. I witnessed how she hurt my girlfriend.

"Babe, lagpas na tayo sa bahay." Napatingin ako sa daan dahil sa sinabi ni Juliana. I was spacing out again. "Babe, are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Uh, yes. Just thinking about something." I said as I held her hand. I forced myself to give her a smile para hindi na siya mag-alala. Nag-U Turn ako para maihatid ko na si Juliana sa kanila. I went out of my car when we got to their house para mapagbuksan siya ng pinto.

"Thanks sa pag-hatid, babe. Take care, okay? Call me when you got home." Lumapit siya sa akin and planted a kiss on my cheek.

Pumasok na siya sa loob so I went in to my car and started to drive.

Papunta kila Tanya.

I'm not sure if I can face her now but I really need to talk to her. I know she loves me and she's hurting, too pero talaga bang hindi niya kayang maging masaya para sa amin ni Juliana? Maybe it's my fault. Maybe nabigyan ko siya ng false hopes. Pero wala namang ginawang kahit ano si Juliana sa kanya kaya I don't see any reasons kung bakit niya kailangan saktan ang girlfriend ko.

I was in the middle of driving when I heard my phone rang.

Mom calling...

"Hello, mom." I answered the call and talked to her through my Bluetooth headphone.

"Keith, anak, where are you? Can you go home now?"

"Why? I have to run an errand sana." I told her

"Anak, I'm sure that can wait. Go home first. Urgent matter 'yung pag-uusapan natin."

I sighed. "Okay, mom. I'm on my way."

Sumunod na lang ako kay Mom at nag-drive pauwi. She doesn't usually aske me to go home immediately so I figured nab aka talagang importante ang pag-uusapan namin. And besides, mabuti na rin siguro 'to so I'll have more time to think kung paano ko ba kakausapin si Tanya.

Tanya's POV

"Tita, ano pong sabi ni Keith?" I asked Tita Kristina, Mom ni Keith, when she hung up the call. Our parents were delighted when they heard my idea. They immediately agreed when we told them na gusto na naming magpakasal ni Keith.

"He's on his way here, sweetie." She answered. "You know what, Tanya? I'm really happy for the both of you. Finally! Ikakasal na kayo!"

"I agree. I always knew that you'll end up with each other." Tito Kier, Dad ni Keith, agreed.

"I'm also very happy for them. Tanya chose the right guy. At least I don't have to worry if my daughter's in good hands or not." My Mom added.

"And don't forget about our companies, Taira." Tito Kier reminded her. "At least we'd be able to keep it within our families. I can already picture our success 'pag merged na ang chains of hotels namin sa restaurant mo."

They all looked happy when they realized that.

I smiled at their reactions. I know they all want me for Keith. I know I lied once again. But I did this for Keith and I. Siguro hindi niya pa nare-realize ngayon that he has feelings for me, too but I'm sure this wedding will help. I know he doesn't love me the way Iove him but I know that in time, he will learn to reciprocate the love that I have for him.
