August's pov!

Its been a week since my birthday, Steven had tried again and again to apologize and Taylor is coming back up because Belly put her in for the Volleyball game and since she is good and Belly wants to win, she is still coming up so we will see how that goes, I decided it's time to talk to Steven today so I woke up showered and put my hair up in a pony tail with only mascara today, sadly my friend couldn't make it her name is Angelia or I just call her Lia she got covid so I have been begging Jere to play for the past three days, I got dressed into what I am gonna wear for volleyball and then knocked on Steven's door it was eight a.m

He opened it "Oh uh August!" He smiled

"Hi, I think we should talk" I said walking in

"Yeah, yeah of course" Steven said and closed his door "What's up?"

I looked at him "I'm going to the deb with Cam, I'm sure Jere told you?" Steven nodded, I then spoke again "I still love you, but not like that, I don't understand why you did this at all but I know you are very apologetic so I will forgive you but I will never forget, you are still a big part of my life and I will always love you in a friend way but it'll take a while for me to gain my trust, but for now we will mostly just be cordial to each other"

Steven nodded "I really am sorry August you didn't deserve that"

"I know, I'll see you later" I smiled at him

He smiled back "See you August"

I walked out and closed the door and sighed and then saw Conrad and Jere leaning on there door ways as if they where listening, I rolled my eyes "Jere!" I yelled and then went into his room

"What?" He looked at me

I threw the shirt at him "I got you a large instead obviously since I was able to change it last minute"

"Ugh fine, I'll play" Jere sighed out

"Thank youuu!" I smiled and I walked out to see Taylor standing outside Bellys doorway mumbling something, then she turned to me

"Uh hey" Taylor said looking at me "Can we talk?"

I looked back at Jere who was sitting on his bed and he did an arm gesture telling me to go, I turned back and rolled my eyes "Sure" I said hesitantly

Belly's room was right next to mine so we walked into my room and I shut the door since Taylor got in first, we stood in front of each other in silence, then I decided to break it "Look I know you are only doing this to stay friends with Belly" I sighed "So I forgive you but only for Belly"

"I am genuinely sorry though" Taylor sighed out "I shouldn't have kissed him it wasn't right" She said shaking her head

I sighed "I forgive you for Belly just be happy with that alright?"

"Whatever" Taylor rolled her eyes and walked out

I then heard them squeal in Belly's room, they where bffs again I was happy for Belly I know she doesn't have that many friends and then the day went on I drove with Cam and Jere since Cam was able to watch but he didn't wanna play and honestly I didn't mind Cam isn't the sporty type and I am here to win, we are all super competitive but I think me and Conrad are the most competitive but I didn't wanna bother him to play since Nicole was coming with him
