Chapter Six; Bellys bday bash!

August's pov!

After twenty minutes in the bathroom I heard a knock on the door "Hey uh August, we are leaving for the party" Steven said at the door, I opened it and Steven hugged me immediately as he could tell I've been crying, I could see Taylor staring at us while Belly was talking to her

"Everything is fine" Steven said petting my hair

I was hugging back then pulled away and adjusted myself in the bathroom mirror and looked decent then I walked out and went to go get my purse then came back to the door  "Ready?" Steven said standing at the door with everyone else, everyone's eyes where on me but I could feel Conrad's eyes all over me I looked at him, then spoke "Yup" we then went to the party at Nicole's house, as soon as I walked in I went for the drinks Conrad with me Steven went to go sing happy birthday for Belly since Nicole set up something

"Hey" Conrad said pouring a drink

"Hey" I mumbled, while taking a beer

"Can we talk?" He asked and pointed out the front door

I nodded and so we went out to the front porch I leaned on the railing Conrad stood next to me I took a sip of my beer

"I wanted to say I'm sorry" He sighed out rubbing the back of his neck "About what I said tonight"

"It's fine" I nodded, I was lying it wasn't fine, I mean Belly is pissed at me and I'm sure Steven isn't feeling to great about it either

"I am also sorry about what happened at the night of the book party" He sighed out

Flash back to the book party

The book party was boring as per usual so me and Steven decided to go to the drive-in but a different one then Belly was doing with her date, it was a pretty bad movie so me and Steven started to make out but then a car pulled up next to us, he was in the passenger seat and I was on his lap facing him we looked over, it was Conrad and Jere, Steven then opened his window

"You two are gross" Conrad said I felt my face turn red and Jere was laughing

"Oh shut it Conrad you wish you where me right now" Steven said trying to laugh it off

I kinda looked at Conrad for his reaction as my face was stuffed in Stevens neck, he looked angry

"Whatever let's go Jere" Conrad said backing out

"What?" Jere said confused

After the movie we went home and Steven kissed me goodnight and went to his room and I went into the kitchen and there he was Conrad, he spoke "How was your hot date?" he spoke in a sarcastic manner which made my blood boil

"Excuse me" I said looking at him obviously upset

"Okay relax we where just having a little fun" Conrad huffed out rolling his eyes

"You guys are assholes" I said and then started rubbing my temples

"Auggie come on" He said throwing his head back and putting his hands on his neck
