I then sat next to her and she gave me a long box I opened it, it was a string of pearls real pearls "Oh my gosh!"
"My grandmother gave this to me and since you are practically my daughter I wanted to give this to you" Susannah smiled
I hugged her "Put it it on!" I said turning away so she could put it on me, I moved my hair
"You next Conradd" I smiled
"Oh uh I forgot" Conrad said avoiding eye contact with me
"Oh" I put on a fake smiled, everyone looked confused
"I'm sorry August I uh have to go pick up Nicole" He sighed out then walked out and left
"I made you your favorite breakfast" Susannah said trying to up the mood
"That's good" I smiled
"Let's go eat? Shall we?" Susannah said looking at me
I nodded and felt my eyes start to water but I took a deep breath "I just need a second" I sighed out then everyone got up and went into the kitchen but then Cam came up next to me and sat down
"I uh got you something" He smiled at me and handed it to me then left
Yet again another box, I opened it and it was a beautiful tiara, then a memory popped up into my mind
Last year before winter break
I put a beautiful silver tiara on my head with pink opal as the little accents "I love it, when I go to the deb next year since I am coming that summer I will find a way to wear this, I swear" I smiled
Cam looked at me "You look beautiful"
"I know" I said sarcastically then put the tiara back "Wanna go get some coffee from next store" I smiled
"Of course" Cam said and so we did and then we sat outside
"It's so nice without braces" I smiled, I had just gotten them off the week before
"I think you looked cute with them" Cam smiled
"Yeah right" I rolled my eyes "My lisp made it so much worse" then I looked at him "What do I not look cute now?" I said kinda sarcastically
"No,no that's not what I meant" He said panicking
I laughed "I know, I know but thank you anyways"
He rolled his eyes "Whatever" then paused "I uh actually need to talk to you about something" He said kinda awkwardly
"What's up?" I asked looking at him
"I like you a lot August" Cam said then silence
"Oh" I nodded
"I feel like you like me too but I could be totally wrong and that's fine it's totally cool" Cam nodded
"No I mean I like you but" I sighed
