Donut looked Barfy in the eyes, "I believe you, I trust that you have good judgment. You know...I can see if I can get you an appointment sooner than later, because I think it would be nice to know that everything's okay for now."

Barf Bag nodded, "That sounds like a good idea. Can you give the office a call."

Donut nodded, "Gladly."

"Well, what did they say?" Barf Bag asked.

"They actually had a cancellation for later today," Donut responded.

Barf Bag's eyes widened, "Really, well that's good-" Barf Bag instantly started to feel queasy again, "Oh Barf, Oh Barf!"

Donut immediately grabbed her the bowl, "Do you need this?"

Barf Bag nodded, as she immediately took the bowl from Donut. She leaned over and started gagging, Donut rubbing her back the whole time as she started to get sick again.

"It's okay Barfy," He said repeatedly. Eventually, Barf Bag had pretty much emptied her entire stomach.

Barf Bag had a tear form in her eye, "Sorry Donut," she croaked out.

Donut reassured her, "It's not your fault. Now I'm really glad we have the appointment later so we can sort this all out."

Barf Bag nodded weakly, her face pale. "Yeah, me too. I just hope everything's alright with the baby."

Donut held her hand tightly. "We'll get through this, Barfy. I promise."

The rest of the morning passed in a blur, with Donut staying by Barf Bag's side, ensuring she was as comfortable as possible. He kept her hydrated with sips of water and tried to distract her with light conversation.

As the appointment time approached, Donut helped Barf Bag get dressed. She moved slowly, her energy depleted from the constant nausea. Donut's heart ached to see her like this, but he kept a brave face for her sake.

In the car, Donut drove carefully, glancing over at Barf Bag every few minutes. She rested her head against the window, her eyes closed, breathing deeply to keep the nausea at bay.

At the doctor's office, they were quickly ushered into an examination room. Barf Bag lay on the examination table, Donut holding her hand as they waited for the doctor.

The doctor entered with a warm smile. "Barf Bag, Donut, it's good to see you both. I hear you've been having a rough time."

Barf Bag nodded. "It's been pretty bad. Worse than my last pregnancy."

The doctor's expression turned serious as she began the examination. "Let's take a look and see what's going on."

The doctor ended up giving Barf Bag an early ultrasound, just to make sure that the baby was where it should be for 8 weeks.

The room was silent except for the hum of medical equipment. Donut held his breath, watching the doctors face for any sign of concern

It didn't take the two of them long to realize that the doctor was looking at the ultrasound screen for quite a while without saying a word.

"Is the baby okay," Barf Bag asked, concern present in her voice.

"Hold on," she said, "I'm just confirming what I think I see."

The doctor continued to look at the ultrasound images, her eyebrows raising as she continued to look at the images.

Donut was starting to get impatient, "I'm starting to think that something is wrong based on your facial expressions."

That's when the doctor asked them the game-changing question, "Is there a history of twins between any of your families?"

Barf Bag and Donut felt shockwaves going through their bodies.

"Twins?" Donut said, "There's no way, I mean, none of us are related to any twins!"

"Well," the doctor said, "You might want to look at this."

She turned the ultrasound screen to face Donut and Barf Bag, and pointed out the two little fetuses that were in Barf Bag's uterus.

Barf Bag and Donut stared at the screen in disbelief, their minds racing. Two little blobs, each with a tiny, flickering heartbeat, appeared on the ultrasound.

"Twins?" Barf Bag repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "We're having twins?"

Donut's eyes widened as he looked at the screen. "That explains why you've been feeling so much worse this time."

The doctor smiled warmly. "It can definitely be more challenging carrying twins. But it's also a wonderful surprise, isn't it?"

Barf Bag nodded slowly, tears of relief and joy welling up in her eyes. "I'm still scared, but... seeing them... it makes it more real."

Donut squeezed her hand. "We're going to have two babies, Barfy. Can you believe it?"

Barf Bag shook her head, "Not really, but I guess it's happening, isn't it?"

As the two of them made it out of their appointment and back into their car, they both took a deep breath.

Barf Bag was feeling a mix of emotions, "As excited as I am about the prospect of twins...I'm very nervous. Having twins comes with its own set of challenges, and it makes the pregnancy more risky."

Donut gently squeezed her hand, "But maybe it's a sign. With everything we've been through, we're lucky that we got a second chance at starting a family this quick. Maybe this is the world telling us that it might be harder for you to get pregnant again after this."

Barf Bag sighed, "When you say it like that...it makes sense."

Donut gave Barf Bag a quick kiss on the cheek, "I'll be here for you, Barfy, like I always have, we all will."

Barf Bag smiled, as the two of them made their trip back home.

Once they entered the house, the whole team was waiting for them at the front door, concern on their faces.

"Well?" Pin asked, "What did they say?"

Donut smiled, "Don't worry, it went great actually."

The whole team sighed in relief, grateful that Barf Bag had a healthy pregnancy so far.

Barf Bag decided this was the time to drop the big news, "It's great to know that both of the babies are doing okay."

"BOTH!?" The whole team shouted in unison.

"Yup!" Barf Bag said, "Surprise! The reason why I've been feeling this awful all day is because we're having twins!"

There was a moment of stunned silence before the room exploded into cheers and congratulations.

"Oh my sewing store!" Needle said, "I can't believe it, twins?"

Donut laughed, "Trust me, we can't believe it either!"

"Well, that's amazing new you two!" Coiny exclaimed, "You guys should be thrilled!"

"We are, trust me, we are," Barf Bag said, "But it's going to be quite a crazy journey for us."

"We're here to help like always," Saw said, "Just like you guys have to us!"

Barf Bag and Donut smiled, grateful for the love and support of their team. While they knew that having twins was going to be anything but a walk in the park, they knew that they had the best support system in the world to back them up.
