Y/n's pov

lying on the bed bored, I stared silently out the window. I was ordered to stay in the clinic bay during my recovery period, I didn't pay much attention to my condition very clearly earlier, but now that things have calmed down, I notice how my vision was impaired.

The fight in the exam had unfortunately damaged my sense of sight in the right eye, I was honestly surprised that it had lasted this long after the long hours of staying up late at night and having game addiction, the mention of game then reminded me of the very thing I had been worrying before the exam.

I hurriedly put on the slippers left to me by the nurse in charge. Trudging towards the bag left on the chair in front of my bed, I rummaged through my things to look for my phone and airpods, grabbing my charger just in case.

Laying right back on the bed comfortably, I left the charger on the bedside table and laying the blanket nice and snug on my body, putting on the airpods into each of my ears with it already connected to my phone.

I swiped through my phone and opened up the game that I had grown to like in my years of gaming, the first thing that greeted me in the game's loadout screen was the load of messages from my gaming duo

'I swear, this guy could be my boyfriend, though I don't really know him that well'

I opened up the ton of messages he left only to have a headache due to the annoying guy on the other line's messages

'Hey, let's play'

'you awake?'

'wake up, idiot!'

'fine, be like that'

'I'm gonna rank up to platinum level with or without you'

An irk mark was sure to appear on my head from the headache that this bitch was giving me.

I was about to reply to his messages when the screen suddenly started flashing and glitching, I grew frustrated, I took out my airpods and was about to hit my phone on the palm of my hand when I heard a buzzing noise in front of me, I moved my hand to the side and noticed some small weird looking insect kaiju that came in through the open window.

"Found ya"

Before I could even react properly to what was happening, it flew towards me in great speed and aimed its stinger towards me, hitting the hand that held my phone, making me groan in pain and drop the phone on my bed. Clutching my hand in pain, red veins started to appear from the wound and crawl its way up my arm fast, causing so much scorching pain to course through my arm, I could barely let out a scream as I felt it reach my throat and losing my voice.

I shook and convulsed on my bed, the kaiju had long gone dropped dead on the ground. By the time the red veins reached my injured right eye, I blacked out and my body flopped back down on the bed and my movements ceased.

After awhile, I sat back up and took in a big intake of air and brought up my right arm to inspect it, However, the red veins had gone down and only my the wound around my arm was evident with the veins.

I made my way to the comfort room that was connected to the room I was in, feeling nauseated after what just happened. I gripped onto the counter tightly and turned on the faucet, splaching my face with cold water, However, I backed up in surprise when I noticed my right eye seeming red and making it look like I had a sore eye.

My throat tightened up and felt dry, I wiped my face with the towel that I had grabbed hold of that was left on the counter earlier. Making my way back into the room, heading over to grab my water bottle to quench my thirst, stopping in my tracks when I notice that the kaiju was nowhere to be seen.

I could've sworn that its body had just fallen to the ground awhile ago, I crouched down to see if it had fallen under the bed, but to no avail.

Panicking, I took hold of my phone and turned it on in hopes of looking up in the internet of what to do, ah yes typical.

However, due to my panicked state, I had gripped my phone too hard and to my surprise, the device was easily crushed and crumpled up in my hold.

The next morning, I requested the nurse for something that I could use to cover my right eye all the while hiding the wound that I had on my right hand, not wanting to attract attention just in case that I could be reported to the defense corps for experimentation.

I kept the situation a secret and layed low in the meantime. I was given the go signal to be discharged from the medical unit and packed up all my things, stopping by a phone shop to buy myself a new gaming phone, of course.

Once I had arrived back home, I swung my leg and got off my bike, kicking down the stand and removing the keys and taking my helmet with me.

I closed the garage door back down before twisting the key in the door to my house, opening the door and switched the lights on, I was greeted by the empty airy looking space of my home.

I plopped my bag down on the nearest couch and made a beeline towards the kitchen. Making myself a quick meal for dinner, laying down my plate and utensils then serving the food that I had just finished cooking.

After dinner, I washed up the dishes and headed into the bathroom to take a shower before lights out. Looking at my reflection in the fogged up mirror, my right eye was still red and I still had the lingering feeling in my right hand.

After the shower, I pulled out my new phone and set up the essential and put in my old sim card. After a while, I was able to set up my new phone and downloaded my games in the phone.

While waiting, I dried ip my hair and scrolled through my social media for any updates, immediately being bombarded with the pinging sound of notifications coming from the same guy.

"Ugh, this guy really misses me so much"

I gritted my teeth in frustration blocked him temporarily. Feeling tired, I set my phone down on the nightstand next to my bed, making sure that everything was locked up, turning off the lights and plopping onto the warm comfort of my bed, letting myself succumb to sleep.

Third person's pov

The Captain of the first division was sulking in his room and was eating in sadness in thhe darkness of his room.

"She blocked me...she left me on seen...how am I going to level up to platinum rank with her now?"

He was left with many dark thoughts as he was left sulking all alone in his room. Seeing as the actions of his gaming buddy and idol's action to be some sort of rejection and causing him to have another online shopping spree. On the other hand, his gaming duo was sleeping nicely in her room with light snores coming from her
