His words caused my heart to sink faster than I could keep up with, my skin washed away all of its color just as I wobbled to keep my legs from giving in. I felt faint, and every ounce of bravery vanished alongside the color of my skin.

Jakova continued, "Now, cut the shit. The truth; before I call in higher reinforcements."

Then, unexpectedly a miniature projected image absorbed our attention, and I realized Blip decided to step in and had cleverly recorded the entire conversation. She replayed Jakova's mockery of Lord Vader, and once everyone realized what she had recorded, all hell broke loose. Jakova took off, aiming to destroy Blip to erase the evidence. Blip instantly cut the projection and I ran for our lives in the direction of the troopers, in the only direction of my door. In a split second, I had reached an ultimatum for my own survival. The force was the only way we would be able to get past these guys, but I was uncertain of my ability to focus.

Time froze, and my eyes sealed shut as my hand flew out toward the men. My emotions were in a state of panic and fear. If these guys happened to grab ahold of me, there would be no salvation. No second chance. No one was here to rescue me this time.

It was either fight, or die.

We crept closer to one another, and it felt as though time had truly come to a dull progression. My eyes remained tightly closed, and the visions of every instance I had seen the Force be used flashed before my eyes. Vader's masterful skill with the Force was my personified ambition, wishing so deeply to wield this power as he does. Unbenounced to me, my focus and intense emotions conjured up a heavy wave of accumulated energy, using the Force to slam into the two stormtroopers. Both of them were thrown into the wall, and I disregarded all sounds and sensations to remain immersed as I sprinted. The troopers were held against the wall, in astonishment at their discovery. The only point I stopped was when the blast door hissed shut behind us. My eyes opened, and my grip on the Force was dropped. Within moments, I was able to faintly hear Jakova banging on the metal door demanding the recording be deleted.

Turning around, I announced into the door, "Keep my personal matters out of your mouth, and Lord Vader will never obtain the holoclip!"

"I could achieve much more from exposing a Jedi scum such as yourself to him!" He argued.

"You are too late for that! If anything, I am leaning more toward Sith at this point!" The status of my training was made known to him, truthfully uncertain of whether or not I will give up this gift or use it.

Silence stagnated between the two of us, until a conclusion was made and Jakova responded, "You have an agreement, Vondar."

.

Unfortunately after the events of last night, my use of the Force left me rugged and exhausted. But I had Blip wake me up early before my day would begin so we could review the message. Soaking in the tub, my hair was buried in suds and I prompted Blip to play the message.

The familiar sound of Sabel's voice warmed my heart and I felt such a heavy weight lift from my shoulders. The audio was choppy and grainy, but her words were intelligible.

"Reina. I did it! I made it back home, and I found Bombi!" Bombi let out a nostalgic, joyous beep as she documented the audio. My heart skipped a beat and tears threatened to fall out of pure happiness. "Mother's U-wing is a bit worse for wear, but I should be able to get her into the air within only a matter of time. I will get you off that battle station, I promise you! But the odds of pulling off such a treacherous task alone is impossible. My escape from the hive went unnoticed, and it is only a matter of time before the imperials notice my absence. My first goal is to find the closest rebel base, and from there I will ensure better odds for the both of us. Stay strong, and play it safe, Rein. You are my first priority, and we love you."
