#6 in #DarthVader (6/20/24)
This story will not be a straight forward romance journey, as Vader is a dynamically difficult character. I intend to keep him as in-character as I possibly can, meaning this story will not be all butterflies and rainbow...
Okay this chapter took absolutely FOREVER to write. It was inconceivably boring to write in my opinion. I had no idea things could be so boring without Vader around. Sorry for the wait!
Don't forget to leave some comments if you have time! I absolutely love them!!

Chapter 19: The Truth
Eruptions of boiling lava shot into the air like the enormous waves of a typhoon. Shooting upward to come falling down onto anything, or anyone unfortunate enough to be within its vicinity. The planet of Mustafar was enraged, the rivers and volcanoes flowed endlessly, driven by the Force in ways that were simply chaotic. At the planet's root of such unnatural disorder, two dark figures were at odds with one another. Blue lights flashed between the two, spinning to clash together in a collateral manner of both a desire for death and the need to defend one's self. It was not just a simple duel between friends, it was the tragedy that befell the two following the death of a friendship so powerful the two were nearly blood. Brothers.
The figures moved with equal aptitude, despite the diverse objectives on which they planned to finish the fight. Fury, betrayal, hatred. Verses confusion, desperation, and regret. The blue lights spun, clashed, and moved endlessly. The planet around them rampaged, following along with their emotional turmoil.
The fight raged on, and in no time led to a stalemate between the two. Words were exchanged, but the punishment the planet was taking left their words but a whisper. That was until one leaped toward the other, certainly spelling death for the one who became dismembered.
The focus began to hone in on the two figures, and their tragic words echoed within the vision's fading image.
'You were my brother, Anakin!' The words that followed were unclear, until the dismembered figure let out a rageful outcry.
'I hate you!!' The words once again faded into nothing more than muffled sounds. The vision had begun to fade into an eerie darkness, until there was nothing left.
.
My eyes shot open, awakening from what I assumed to have been another nightmare. A gasp filled my lungs, reality hitting me for the third time this rotation. Beyond the fogged glass, a black armored lava trooper had just finished knocking, successful in his attempt to awaken me.
His muffled words reached my ears poorly, the glass and bacta-water mixture successfully blocking out most of the sounds beyond it.
"My lady, food has arrived for you, and will remain within Lord Vader's chambers until you have concluded your meditation." LT-172 informed me before returning to his position. In all corners of the room, troopers are stationed in the same manner Vader's master's Royal Guard had been. But since Vader had left, the guard disbanded until his eventual return. Today marks the midway of month three that he had been gone. Each rotation on Mustafar is 36 hours long. The first month felt like it had been forever since I had seen him last. Now, it felt like it had been an eternity.
